Narrator POV

After a good night of sleep, Tommy woke up feeling exited. He went to the bathroom and got ready. Around 4:30 he went down to the dining hall to have his breakfast, soon being joined by Vanessa. He was enjoying himself and so was Vanessa, they were talking about the party and all the guests. They were soon joined by Charlie and Nathaniel. “So, I do think you two are exited. I mean you are finally turning 18 and becoming a fully fledged adult.” said Nathaniel, “Well yes, of course we are.” said Vanessa. They all were enjoying themselves, talking and eating. They were finished with their breakfast at around 5, and then Nathaniel and Charlie went to their rooms to get everything ready along with contacting their assistants to check up on the gifts. While Tommy and Vanessa went to their favourite spot in the garden, it was a hidden spot within one of the mazes of the gardens, it was not a proper maze, it was more of like a small pathway, this spot was a great spot for picnics and just talking. Tommy and Vanessa remembered always going there and having picnics or just talking. “This is so nostalgic.” said Vanessa, “Yes, it brings back so many good memories.” said Tommy. “Yeah.” said Vanessa. “So, do you want to talk or go to the ball room? I mean we do need to dance together and it's been a while since we had danced together.” said Tommy, smiling at Vanessa. “Well I do want to dance.” said Vanessa. “Then let's go!“ said Tommy, he grabbed Vanessa's hand and ran with her towards the ballroom. They soon reached there and went towards the centre, Tommy and Vanessa held each other and started dancing. “Your footwork is as good as I remember.” said Vanessa, “Thank you, but I could say the same for you too. Your footwork is great as well!” said Tommy, they both smiled and kept on dancing. After a while they got tired and headed in. “Its nine, shouldn't your friends be up?” asked Vanessa. “Yes, I do think that they should be.” said Tommy. “They are having their breakfast right now, masters.” said someone who was right behind them. “Oh lord, Henry. That was scary.” said Tommy, which made the butler or Henry laugh. “Right master, would you two like to review the meals, gifts and dresses?” asked the butler. “Of course.” said Vanessa and Tommy. “Well then, please follow me my lord and my lady.” said Henry. “The others would be coming at around 4, right?” asked Vanessa, she just wanted to confirm. “Well yes, since the party is due to start at around 4.” said Tommy. They continued to walk for a while and soon reached a room, it was filled with papers and books and tabled and chairs. Henry went to one of the tables and grabbed few of the papers on the table, he went back to Tommy and Vanessa, he handed Tommy and Vanessa a paper and said, “That's the menu of the appetizers.” said Henry, “Ah, the list is quite long isn't it?” said Vanessa, “Yes, it is quite good. But that's what we want isn't it? It's our 18th birthday so it is supposed to be grand.” said Tommy, “Yes.” said Vanessa, smiling. They went through the menus of the appetizers, the main course and the desserts. They all did like it and soon went to check up on everything else. They liked everything and then went to get ready, since it was already 3:30. They went in and got ready, and so did everybody else. “You two look good.” said Charlie and Nathaniel. “We do don't we?” said Tommy. The other members of the dream smp also came down, they looked so good and ready for the party. “You all look so good!” said Vanessa. “Thank you.” said Niki. “I see that you all have taken a liking to each other.” said Tommy. “Well yes, since there weren't many women here so we thought we'd hang out. Me, Puffy, Niki, Hannah and Charlie hung out quite a bit.” explained Vanessa. “Of course, of course. It's nice to have connections.” said Nathaniel. “Well, shall we head down to the ballroom?” asked Tommy. “Of course, let's go.” said Wilbur. They all headed out to the ballroom and soon, the guest also arrived, by 5 the party was in full action, the guest were drinking, dancing and talking to the other guests and Tommy and Vanessa. The members of the dream smp were also enjoying themselves, many people had recognised them and some people were introduced to them, the guests were full of high profile people, ceos of companies, businessmen, etc. “Thomas...” said Vanessa, her eyes widened, she was trembling. Without waiting for a response, she pulled Tommy to a side, behind a pillar where no-one could see them. “Vanessa?” asked Tommy, he held Vanessa's shoulders and tried to call her down, it looked as if she was on the verge of having a mental breakdown and panic attack. “He is here...” “Who Vanessa, who's here?” “Ronald is here.” said Vanessa, at that moment Tommy froze, he couldn't speak, he couldn't move, he couldn't do anything. Tommy took a deep breath and regained his composure, “It's fine.” he said, taking his of her shoulders, “What?” said Vanessa, in utter shock. “Let's go back to the party, I'm not letting him ruin our special day.” said Tommy. “I suppose.” said Vanessa, she regained her composure in a bit and nodded, they headed back to the party and continued talking. After an hour or so the butler asked for a moment with Tommy and Vanessa. “Is there a problem Henry?” asked Vanessa while following Henry. “No, my lady. It's more of a birthday surprise for both of you.” said Henry. “Really? Well that's great.” said Tommy. They followed Henry to the gates of the Mansion. There they saw four people, a girl with dirty blonde hair with green eyes, and she was accompanied with a man who had blonde hair and blue eyes. The other pair was also one of a woman who had long wavy blonde hair with blue eyes, and a man with blonde hair and blue eyes. The first pair was actually the parents of Vanessa Blackwood and the second ones were of Thomas Simons. “Mum, dad?” Vanessa said, she went and hugged the two blondes with green and blue eyes. “Mother, Father. Honestly this is the best thing I could ask for on my birthday.” he said, he went and hugged them tight. “We wouldn't miss your 18th birthday for the world you know.” said Thompson. “Right, and we also have a surprise for you two.” said Melissa. Now all of them were separated and now they were following their parents somewhere. “Wow”
