Chapter 2
Cassie's POV
After like two hours of being on the plane we finally got to Chicago. I was so happy but at the same time, I was very exhausted. After I got off the plane, I went to the Starbucks at the airport and I ordered my favorite drink, the Chocolate Cookie Crumble Crème Frappuccino. I sat down to drink the frappuccino and for the first time, I noticed that I didn't know how to get to TCCA, and I didn't know how to get around places!
I quickly finished my drink and walked toward the police officer to see if he could give me any direction. I was walking toward the exit of the airport because I was sure that there was going to be a policeman. I was walking toward him when I accidentally bumped into someone, I quickly turned around to see who it was. I saw the hottest guy I had ever seen. His hair was a mix of light and dark brown. He was tall, maybe like 6'5, he was wearing a grey hoodie and some jeans, and he had some black and red sneakers. His eyes though were the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen. They were a mix of light and dark brown and I loved them. And I was planning to tell him, and also ask him how to get to TCCA.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't see you," I explained.
He just nodded and kept walking. Then, I remembered what I was going to ask, so I quickly turned around.
"WAIT" I yelled.
He turned around with an annoyed look on his face. I wondered why he was annoyed.
"Umm... do you know how to get to TCCA, and also I like your eyes," I said. I was nervous about what he was going to say.
He just stared at me but after a long time which felt like years to me, he rolled his eyes.
"Yeah. Thanks, I guess . . . " he muttered.
I smiled uncertainly.
"So . . . um . . . can you tell me how to get there?" I asked. He hadn't told me.
He waited a couple of seconds and then he smiled.
"No," he said. Then he kept on walking.
I just stood there staring at his back, shocked that he was so rude, I scowled, a bit annoyed at him. Then I went straight to ask a cashier and she told me the direction. Then I went to a taxi and he drove me to TCCA. When I got in, I went to where the secretary was
"Hi! I'm new here. Could you please hand me my dorm key?" I asked, kindly.
"Sure, dear! No problem, what is your name"? she asked.
"My name is Cassandra Anderson" I answered
"Okay dear here is your key, your roommate already got here just to let you know," she told me. She handed me the key and I read the dorm number. A91.
"Oh okay, thanks for the key and for letting me know," I said.
After that, I grabbed all my things, and then I went to the elevator to get to my floor. When I finally got to my floor I went to my room and I unlocked the door. I enter the room and I see that the room is medium-sized. There were two closets, two desks, and a bathroom, the walls were light brown. My roommate, who wasn't here, had chosen the bed that was against the wall so I gladly took the bed by the window. My roommate had already started decorating and she had replaced the white sheets with black ones.
I started to unpack my things and when I was done I started decorating my space. I put some posters on and some fairy lights on my bed and desk. Later, I replaced my white sheets with pastel pink ones. I got a white carpet and put it on the floor.
When I was done, I got my laptop and brought up Spotify and I put my playlist on. In the meantime, I listened to music.
