I'll Never Let You Go

Chapter Eight

Cassies POV

       When I woke up, it was 7 am so I quickly sat up and yawned. Ah, I had a beautiful dream where Brandon asked me to be his girlfriend, but then I remembered that it wasn't a dream. I was so happy that I went to take a shower and then I changed into my clothes which was a white turtleneck shirt, black jeans, a gold necklace, and black heels. Then I got out of the bathroom and saw Claire with food.

        "Hi, how did you sleep? Oh, and I brought this food so we could talk about yesterday" she said, smiling

"I slept well and you?" I asked "Also good, so... how did it go with Brandon yesterday?" she asked with an evil smirk.

 "Well... it went very well," I said with a dreamy smile. "Really? What happened?! Tell me!!" she said excitedly

"Well, we sang together my favorite song, and then he asked me to be his girlfriend and then he gave me my first kiss" I responded with a giant smile on my face.

 "Oooh well I guess it went really well," she said with a smile.

"I'm glad I could help you find someone out there that would appreciate who you are." 

"Yeah thank you for helping me," I said.

 "Yeah no problem glad I could help," she said smiling.

        We sat down to talk about yesterday, and it was getting closer to our first class when I realized that I didn't know what to do when I saw Brandon, like should I just say hi or what! Claire sensed that I was worried so she asked 

 "Are you ok?"

"Yes I mean no, it's because I don't know what to say or act when I see Brandon. I mean I have never had a boyfriend so I don't know what to do," I exclaimed.

 "Don't worry, act normal," she answered.

       After a long day of class, I only had one left and it was the one with Brandon. I didn't know what to do because I ate lunch in the dorm room so I wouldn't have to confront him, but I knew there was no way out of it. I walked to the class but thankfully the class was about to start so I just got in, but I knew that my seat was next to Brandon and Brianna. When I was about to go there I saw that there was a girl flirting with him, I was partly jealous because of how she was flirting with him, and also happy but just a little bit, because then I wouldn't have to confront him. Brandon saw me but I quickly turned around and found another seat, thankfully for the class of today it was only how to compose well but I already knew how to do that since I do it in my free time. I didn't pay much attention because of that so for the rest of the class I saw in the corner of my eye how that girl flirted with Brandon which was making me jealous.

  When the class finished I quickly stood up and I was going to say hi to Brandon but saw that the girl was all over him so I decided better not to, I quickly got out of the classroom and I heard someone yell my name but I didn't pay attention to it. I quickly got up to my room and then slammed the door, thankfully though Claire wasn't there so I just got on my bed.

        I couldn't believe that Brandon let that girl get all over him. He could have simply pushed her away but he didn't. Sometime later, I heard someone knock on the door. I got up and opened the door, and saw that it was Brandon so I quickly slammed the door on his face, and laid down on my bed. Some hours later I heard keys on the door so I was happy to know that it was Claire because I would be able to talk to her. When it opened I was happy to see Claire but then I saw that Brandon was behind her so I quickly ran to the bathroom and locked the door. I heard the door close so I sighed in relief because I thought that Brandon was gone so I unlocked the door and then I went to my bed but before I could, I saw that Claire wasn't here and that she was the one that left so that meant that Brandon was here, I quickly headed back to the bathroom, but before I could, someone grabbed my hand, I turned around and saw that it was Brandon, I was trying to get out of his grip but I couldn't. 

       "Cass please stop, I just want to explain everything to you ok?" He said I was about to say no, but then, I saw his pleading eyes and I couldn't resist, so I gave up and nodded. We sat down on my bed and then he said

        "Ok, so like you were avoiding me all morning which I'm not sure why, I was searching for you but couldn't find you, so then it was finally time for the class and I was waiting for you to come in. Then Chloe came in, she was on a vacation before so that's why she wasn't here yesterday, she came in and sat down next to me. I was about to tell her to go, but then she started touching me and then you got in, I was about to say something for you to come here with me but you sat down somewhere else so I had to sit with her all class. It was torture, but then the class finally finished and I was about to go with you, but she pulled me, so I couldn't push her off without hurting her, so then I saw you coming towards us and then saw you go back down and out of the class. I quickly pushed her off, not caring about hurting her anymore and then I called your name but you didn't stop. I went back to the class and got my things and then I went to your dorm room but you slammed your door on my face, so I had to call Ethan to ask him to call Claire so she would come and open the door for me, thankfully Claire was with Ethan but they were far away from TCCA, so I had to wait for them to come. Then they finally came, and Claire unlocked the door for me, but you went running to the bathroom, and then you know the rest of it" 

     "Ok, but how do you know her name?" I asked, "Oh, um... she was my ex-girlfriend, but I broke up with her before she went on vacation," he explained.

"Oh okay, I believe you," I said with a sigh. He had a relieved smile but then asked

"Why were you avoiding me earlier?"

 "Oh, it's because um... like I have never had a boyfriend so ...I um... didn't know how to act and be a girlfriend so I freaked out" I answered him giving him a sheepish smile. He just smiled while shaking his head

"You don't have to act anyway different, just be yourself" he responded with a soft smile, I smiled back and said

"Ok" then he gave me a sweet kiss so I kissed him back. Then we watched a movie, and then I slept while leaning onto his shoulder. Then he woke me up, I opened my eyes, stood up, and saw that Claire was there, so Brandon gave me a kiss on the cheek and got out of the room. "So I guess you guys made upright?" Claire asked

"Yeah" I answered. Then, I went to the bathroom to put my pj's on, and then I went to my bed and went to sleep.
