I'll Never Let You Go

Chapter twelve

Brandon's POV

          It had been some days since Cass left and I was miserable without her. I had never felt this way before, I've had a lot of relationships with other girls but I have never felt this way when we broke, I never felt miserable I was always fine like nothing had happened. With Cass though, it was so much different because I truly loved her, I had told girls that I loved them before, but I never really meant it, I just said it. I had loved for the first time, I had loved Cass but now I had lost her and I didnt know what to do to get her back. 

         I was going out of my last class when I saw Claire passing by so I walked quickly towards her and asked

"Hi Claire, how are you?

"Oh, hi Brandon I'm fine just missing Cassie and you?" She said with a sad smile

"I'm fine" I replied with a tight smile

"I just wanted to know if you had heard about Cass, and if you knew how she's doing," I said, wanting to know if Cass was okay

"Um... we haven't talked much but she says she's fine but I'm not so sure because she's not answering my calls and barely ever texts" she answered with a worried expression

"Oh ok, well thanks for telling me... see you later," I said and walked quickly to my dorm room

         When I got to my dorm room I sat on my bed and then I grabbed my phone and called Cass. I had already called her three times today and she didnt answer but I wanted to see if maybe she would answer now. I called and waited for some time when she finally answered

"Hi, Cass how are you? I just wanted to see how you are doing and see if we can talk and if I can explain to you what happened." I said, happy that she had answered.

"CAN YOU JUST STOP CALLING CASSIE, YOU ARE MAKING HER BE MORE MISERABLE THAN SHE NEEDS TO BE, I'M GONNA HANGUP" someone yelled

"Wait don't hang up! Who are you? And I can explain please listen to me, it's not what it looks like, you have to believe me," I said desperately

"I am Cassie's sister," she said more quietly

"You're Amy? My sister loves your clothes, anyway, that's not the point."

"Yeah, I'm Amy anyway do you want to explain or what?" Amy replied

"Yeah, yeah please let me explain," I said hoping that she would understand

"Ok I'll only give you two minutes so you better hurry," she said

"Ok, so Chloe was my ex-girlfriend and was angry that I was with Cass so she started doing different pranks on Cass but I didnt know who did them until one day she told me. I told Cass that I was going to speak to Chloe and tell her to stop, so I texted her if we could meet up because I wanted to talk to her about something so she said sure and told me to meet her in a room before lunch. I went and talked to her and she said that it was fine and that she would stop doing pranks, but then she pulled me towards her and kissed me but I pushed her away not caring if I hurt her at all anymore. Then I went to my dorm for a bit and went to the cafeteria to tell Cass that Chloe said that she wouldn't do pranks anymore, but when I got there, I saw her crying so I went to see what happened but she dropped the phone and started running away. Claire her friend pulled me away from her and showed me the video, but it isn't true and Chloe is really good at editing. I could never explain anything to Cass because she didnt let me explain so I couldn't say anything, and I was and have been so miserable since." I said with a sad and hopeful voice. I waited for Amy to say something but there was no answer and I was scared that she had hunged up but then she said,

"Brandon, I wish this had never happened but I believe you, I know that you are not lying, and I don't want my sister to be miserable anymore. I have an idea to get you guys back together but it might not work"

"Tell me please I don't care if it doesent work, I would do anything to get her back or for her to be ok," I said desperately to hear the idea

"Ok, so you come here and I can pay you for a flight and the hotel. In the next two days, we will all go to a friends restaurant where singers can perform, so I can book you to be the first and then you sing something to her," she said kindly

"Yes, yes that would be perfect I can take my guitar and sing a song that is special for the both of us, and then maybe she will forgive me," I said hoping that it would work

"Ok, let's do that but if it doesent work I need you to leave Cassie alone, okay?" she said with a stern voice

"Ok, that's fine, and Amy, thanks for doing this, even if it doesent work I'm so thankful," I said

"Yeah sure, don't worry I would do anything for Cassie to be ok, I will book your flight for tomorrow morning, and like that you can rest and be ready for the next night and I will send you all the details for everything" she replied

"Ok and thanks for everything," I said one more time

"Your welcome, Bye," she said and then hung up

           I couldn't wait to see Cass again and fix all this and just to see her. If this doesent work I'm going to be miserable forever but I need to try to get her back. 

                                                                   ONE DAY LATER

          I was already in the hotel yesterday, and now I was getting ready to go to the restaurant. When I was done I went downstairs and called a taxi and went to the restaurant. I was nervous on the ride but I had to calm down. When I got there, I had ten minutes to prepare, so I sang the song once and then, I texted Amy to tell her that I was already there. She said that they might be a little late but not much. Someone called me and told me that it was time so I nodded and went to the stage taking my guitar, when I got there I sat down and then saw the crowd. There were a lot of people and I didnt know what to say, but then I knew the exact words that I needed to say, and when I started talking I just knew that Cass was there listening.
