Djamila had just gotten back to her hotel room from the arena where she had performed, they were spending the night in Detroit and leaving the next morning. She was on her bed, texting with Matt, when Peter Parker started calling her on FaceTime. She widened her eyes, they had only communicated via texts and social media, they never had a phone call. It wasn't that big of a deal, but Djamila freaked out over the smallest things, so it's only fair to say that even then she was panicking. So, like the normal person she was, she let the phone ring.
Until it stopped.
Huh, that wasn't so bad, she thought.
But then in rang again. What the hell?
Maybe it was urgent?
She decided to put her anxiety aside and answered the video call.
Immediately she was graced with a handsome face. If she wasn't panicking that much before, she was now. She immediately felt warmth spread through her chest, a sense of familiarity, like she wasn't talking to a stranger but to someone important in her life. Well, even if we never met we still texted, this must be it, she thought again. She looked better at the guy in front of him and, as soon as she noticed his red eyes and lazy grin, she started laughing.
