(Hope you enjoy.)

The resistance tampered too much.

Apparently, they've come to dissuade Rivet.

She's not leaving the emperor. Not when it's her duty to serve, to defend. To destroy.

River's metal arm twangs. Sword and mallet clashes.

"Ma cherié, please!" Pierre begged, desirably looking to deafest the Lombax. It's in against one. "You know your in the wrong! And now you've turned here!"

The resistance have become so desperate to actually send a private to do a soldier's job. Rivet merely gave a sneer, mallet clashing once again.

"I'm giving you one chance." She replied lowly, bangs covering eyes. "Leave, now."

Doesn't mean she's not merciful. The emperor can't change everything. He's innocent in some.

Rivet's drone Pierré to a pit. A bottomless shallow.

She pressed the bottom attached the a calling device.

Bots appear to assurance of the once resistance.

"...Leave now."

Pierré actually gazed sadly. Like he's given up hope.

...It's strange Rivet felt a sting inside her chest.

***

Should Rivet be affected by pain now?

The emperor stood the the side watching cameras of his city. Citizens wonder, tax rising, the poor becoming poor. The rich becoming rich.

Rivet isn't sure what category she falls into.

"How did the arrest go?"

Her attention diverted to the emperor. River's covered in head to toe in blood. The things she's done cannot he mentioned.

She finds it not wanting mentioned.

"It went fine."

Is Rivet technically rich because she lives in the tower? Is she entitled to money like others? Or is she condemned to go in hell?

"Tell me the truth."

It's said rather gently. The emperor sat lazily in the chair, spinning without a care in the world. Rivet distantly wishes to feel those emotions.

She gazed into robotic eyes.

"It doesn't suit you, lying Rivet."

She flinched without meaning to. Eyes closing, Rivet looked back to any comforting memories she may have had in a past life.

...None come to kind.

"I killed as commanded."

It seemed to satisfy the emperor. He merely nodded.

Nefarious always did like toying prey.

Rivet passed the cells.

Others glare, some look to her in sadness. Creatures lost hope here, never gaining happiness back. She's lucky to be like them.

Rivet's been saved, she's sure.

Some creature stare like she's lost. Rivet can't remember a time before serving Nefarious. She is knowledged of the take over.

A metal hand placed itself on the wall.

Rivet stared at the limb. It's been there for who knew how long. Even after she'd been...turned anew. Tears slipped down purple furred cheek.

Rivet's one kind disappeared. Now she's losing body parts. Did the universe hate her? Is everyone out to get Lombaxes? Why is she alive?

Rivet slinked down the wall, bending into a kneeling position. She'd gained control of emotions to not show weakness in the eyes of others.

...She's alone now.

Is weakness allowed when one's alone?

Creatures state pitifully at the crying Lombax.

Rivet only stared back in the same pitifulness.

***

In a previous life, River thinks she's kind.

She remembered laughing. Socialising. Events causing a wide range of happiness to float. In the Nefarious tower, none of those exist.

It's only a villains life here.
