*Miami's POV*
-September 14, Monday, 3:00 PM-

"Welcome to Packs 101, ladies and gentlemen," an older woman spoke eloquently. "I am Mrs. Sparrow," she walked through the rows, eying each student with a serious look. "This class will not be fun, it will be taken seriously by each of you. If you do not heed my warning, I will remove you from my class." Her voice held an ironless in it that made me move in my seat nervously. She was not joking.

I felt something jab me in the shoulder and I turned to see that Claudine, who was sitting next to me was handing me a piece of paper. I took it quickly, making sure Mrs. Sparrow didn't see before I opened it. 'Hey, what was it you needed to tell me?'

I stared down at the note, knowing what she was talking about. I had wanted to tell her what had happened with the King, but I didn't want to tell her during lunch when everyone could hear us. It felt a little more like a private matter between her and I, and definitely not something I wanted to share with Grant. Ugh, I can imagine his overprotective self now... I quickly shake my head and write a reply: 'In Training, I was originally partnered up with Grant for practicing fighting stances and he was screwing off so he got in trouble by the King. I had to plead the King not to punish Grant so he partnered up with me...meaning the King.'

I slyly passed back the note to Claudine and I heard her gasp slightly, being super quiet to not alarm Mrs. Sparrow. We did not need her on our back on the first day. She passed back the note and I shook my head at her reply. 'GIRL YOU ARE SOOO LUCKY!! What happened after that?!'

I quickly wrote a reply and tried to pass it back to her but Mrs. Sparrow apparently had eyes like a hawk. "Ms. Andrews!" she screeched. "Throw the note away and do not try that again, got it?" Her eyes narrowed at me and I cowered in fear.

"Yes, ma'am." I mumbled in embarrassment as I got up and threw the note away in the nearest garbage can.

"Good, now as I was saying. Each member of a pack is important. How to be an efficient pack member is easily learned, but actually being an efficient pack member takes skills. This class will go over everything you will need to take to the Kingdom, if you are so lucky to go there, and you can also take this class and apply it to your life back home as well."

Oh, such a thrill this class will be. I slouched in my chair and watched the clock tick in annoyance. I just want it to be time for equestrian class so I can finally tell Claudine what the hell happened between Edward and I. I need some girl advice...

In the blink of an eye, the torturous class was finally let out and I walked with Claudine to the stables for equestrian class.

"Okay, now you can spill!" Claudine pulled my arm as soon as we walked out the door. "You seriously have to tell me what happened after the King said you were partners."

"It was the weirdest thing! He told me to attack him and I tried but he pinned me down. Tingles shot up my arm and I was mesmerized by his entrancing blue eyes. I seriously could have laid there for eternity but he quickly got up and brushed it off like it was no big deal. Like, I'm seriously so confused. I don't know what this means..." I looked off into the unknown and suddenly we were at the stables.

The outside looked like the castle, stone walled and rich with history. As Claudine and I walked inside, our jaws dropped to the floor. "Oh my, what Momma would give to see this!" She exclaimed.

The inside fit fifty of the most gorgeous horses I have ever seen. Each stable was equipped with a sliding door and could fit two horses in it, but each horse had it's own stall. The wood ceiling and the arches made me gasp in awe. My heart was fluttering in delight at the sight.
