*Miami's pov*
-Saturday, September 19, 3:14 PM-

'Miami,' Edward growled and I turned to him, seeing his eyes darken, his wolf ready to come out. 'Go get your clothes on and meet me at Caines office.'

I did as I was told and scampered off to go find my clothes. He looked almost as pissed as he had with Cameron. 'Finally, that bitch will suffer,' my wolf said and I agreed with her. How could Amber let that poor janitor take the blame for something she had done? Now he was locked somewhere in the Kingdom.

I found my clothes behind the tree I had shifted behind and shifted back to my human form, putting my clothes on. Then I jogged my way back to the Academy, not caring about the stares I got because I looked like a wreck and was in my pajamas.

I felt just as mad as Edward looked. Stupid slut. I made my way into the front office and knock on Headmaster Caines door. "Come in," Edward said gruffly and I entered, seeing Edward fuming, Headmaster Cain looked surprised, and Amber looked pissed.

'Let me get at her. She's the one who gave us that scar,' my wolf said and I cringed, remembering the permanent scar that was left on my ankle.

"I demand she be sent to my dungeons immediately," Edward growled out loud, shaking the room. "She could have caused Miami serious damage from what she did."

"I didn't do it," Amber said, looking irritated as she crossed her arms across her chest. That made me even more ticked.

"We saw you, you worthless fleabag," I growled out loud. How dare she lie to the Headmaster when obviously Edward and I had saw her? "You caused me some of the worst pain I've felt-"

"Miss Andrews, that is quite inappropriate," Headmaster said, giving me a slightly disappointed look before she turned to Edward. "Now, King, I know you're frustrated, but let's hear it from Miss Summers point of view."

"Finally, someone with a rational thought," Amber muttered, earning a growl from Edward, but she ignored it, "okay so I was walking to my bedroom- I had just come from the cafe, had a good steak- but I stopped because I had a vision. In my vision someone was walking into the woods with a trap. They had put it down and set it up, smearing it in wolfsbane. The person passed and a few minutes passed before I saw Edward and Miami in their wolf form jogging that way. Neither of them had seen the trap and both were headed straight for it. But, instead of Miami stepping in it this time, the King had."

We all had gone silent at what she had just said. Part of me believed her and the other part of me knew she was a lying hoe. 'Grr, I hate her. Kill her.' My wolf said. 'But what if she's telling the truth?'

"Who put the trap up?" Headmaster Cain finally said, breaking the silence.

Amber furrowed her eyebrows and closed her eyes. "I-I don't know, the person had a black sweatshirt on, dark jeans, a gas mask, and some gloves on. That's all I can see."

"She's telling the truth," Edward stated, his voice still angry. I turned to him, seeing his eyes narrowing down on Amber. "Which means the person who hurt Miami is still here, on the property."

My eyebrows widened and I turned to Headmaster Cain, who was staring at me solemnly. "We will need to have a lockdown in the Academy until we can get this problem fixed." She stood from her desk and clicked on a little button. "Students and faculty members," her voice echoed from an intercom, "if you are out on the grounds or in Town please come to the Academy immediately. You have five minutes to get back; if you are not here in that time you will be expelled." She removed her finger from the button.

"Amber, I'd like to thank you for saving Miami and I from harm, your heroics will be rewarded." Edward said to Amber, his voice still had a tinge of anger in it. 'I don't like him talking to her,' my wolf said and I agreed with her. 'But she did save him from getting hurt, so...' I said, which she just growled at.

"My King, if I may ask, what were you and Miami doing alone in your wolf forms in the middle of the woods?" Headmaster Cain asked and it dawned on me that she could find out about us being mates.

I opened my mouth, sure to make a bad lie up to cover it up, but surprisingly, Amber beat me to it. "She wanted him to teach her how to better prepare herself in battle in wolf form," she said, sounding tired of the situation. "So, can I leave now? I'm kind of bored."

Headmaster Cain nodded her head, looking between Amber and I, "Yes, you and Miss Andrews may leave. King, you and I need to discuss what we are going to tell the students."

As Amber and I were leaving, I snuck a glance at Edward, knowing from his facial expression that he would see me later.

We walked out her her room then out of the office in silence. As much as I hated to admit it, I had to thank her for saving Edward. "Listen, Amber, I want to thank you-"

"Yeah, I know," she said, waving her hand around, cutting me off. She turned to give me a glare, "know that I won't stick up for you next time. Just remember what I told you in that shop." With that she turned and sashayed away.

I stared at her retreating figure, utterly confused by her. "Issues," I muttered as I kept on walking to my room. "That girl has issues."

-Saturday, September 19, 9:37 PM-

"-I just don't see what the big issue is really," Claudine said after we had returned from the huge assembly. "Why won't they tell us what is going on? We have a darn good right to know. Shucks, maybe even my mama and daddy should know about it if it's this darn important."

Edward and Headmaster Cain had explained, at the assembly, that we were under a lockdown until the situations that they will not discuss is handled. No one is allowed outside or in Town. Which meant I now had no way to get a dress.

"They probably have their own reasons, Clau," I said from my bed as I looked across from her. She had a grumpy look on her face and she had changed into her plaid pajamas. I had opted for shorts and an oversized shirt, holding onto Mr. Strawberry.

I had decided not to tell her because I didn't want her to get in trouble for knowing more. I wasn't even sure if I was allowed to talk about the matter.

"Whatever, I'm just going to hit the hay, night Memes," she told me as she laid her head down and turned off her lamp.

"Night, Clau," I said in reply and turned off my lamp of my own. It's been a very busy day and I was actually very tired.

Apparently so was Claudine, because as soon as her head hit the pillow, loud snores mumbled out of her mouth.

I was just about to fall asleep when I felt weight push down on my bed and a body pull me to their chest. From the Sparks, I could instantly tell it was Edward. "Edward, what are you doing?" I yawned and turned my head to look up at him. He made this bed far more comfortable than usual.

"My wolf and I have been dying to sleep in the same bed as you baby," he said in a hushed whisper, giving me a small smile as he kissed my head. "You're tired, go to sleep."

I obliged, holding Mr. Strawberry tightly in my arms and cuddled deeper into Edward's grasp. I fell into one of the best sleeps I've ever had.
