*Miami's POV*
-Tuesday, September 15, 8:33 PM-

I sat in my room peacefully, holding Mr. Strawberry to my chest. I didn't like that I would have to spend the night without him, especially outside. He always gave me a place of sanctuary and safeness. He reminded me of Orlando. "Oh, I'm sorry," I whispered to him, hugging him close before I laid him gently on my bed.

I heard screeching and 'whooping' outside from the other students who had already went outside for the experiment. Everyone had to be out there by 9 or they would be disqualified. I decided to go out there later when it was darker so that I could be more hidden. I had no intention on hurting anyone or being hurt myself.

Claudine and the Sisters had already gone out and chosen a nice spot to sleep. I preferred to work alone, though I felt happy they had offered to share their spot with me.

I tightened my hairbow and grabbed my bag, throwing it over my shoulder. I would have gone out tonight as my wolf, but I thought it would have been a bad idea seeing as most people had chosen against it. Of course, I had to be a good role model to everyone.

'Of course he chose us,' my wolf said tautly, giving me a wolfy grin. 'Shut up, you mutt.' I told her, which I knew always got her angry. 'At least I'm not a fridge for vampires.' She growled back.

I shook my head at that and walked out my room, carrying my bag on my back. The hallway was pretty much vacant aside from the occasional janitor. I went over to the elevator and stepped in it.

"Oh, hello Miami," I jumped a bit as the King entered the elevator right after me. Man, I didn't even sense him. "Why are you still here? I would have assumed you would be already on the grounds."

"King," I bowed my head to him and leaned against the wall of the elevator, staring into his gorgeous blue eyes. "I just felt like it would be easier if I waited until it were dark to start. I'm better hiding in the dark." I smiled to him, which he returned with a smile of his own. "By the way, I was wondering why you chose me as your choice in your student going to the town? I mean, thank you for it, but why?"

"Because, you are very headstrong," he said almost immediately, his eyes shining proudly. "You remind me of my mother. One day you will be a very good Luna."

Butterflies bubbled in my chest and my wolf howled with joy. It was a huge honour being complimented by a Royal, especially a compliment that grand. "Thank you, sir, but I probably won't be a Luna. I'm daughter of a Delta."

His eyebrows furrowed slightly. "You can't be a Delta. You're an alpha."

I blinked and shook my head, following him out of the elevator. "Oh, no. Both of my parents are Delta."

"But you're so powerful," he said, though he looked like he wanted to say something else.

My wolf grinned in admiration at the compliment, "I trained the best I could in my pack." I told him. "I was stronger than some." Correction, I was stronger than most. I walked outside, seeing the sun was just setting. I heard roar cries out in the distance and saw sparks light up the air. This would be a fun night. "Well, I best be off-" I told him but he cut me off.

"Actually, Miami, I will be accompanying you tonight," he said and followed me as I walked towards the wooded area around the Academy. "I want to see how you will react to this little experiment."

I just shrugged off my wolf purring at the thought he would be sleeping near us. "Okay, King," I said and ducked under a tree limb as I heard rustling near us. His body pressed flush against my back and his arms wrapped tightly around my waist. I stuttered a gasp as the sudden pleasurable shocks I felt.

"I hear your heart beating wildly," he whispered in my ear, my body shivering at the heavenly sound. Oh. My. Moon Goddess. This is not happening.

I placed my hands overtop of his and leaned my head back against him so that the person who was near us wouldn't know to come over here.

"Fuck," a deep voice groaned before I heard his footsteps go farther away. I sighed and step away from the King.

"Okay, now that he's gone, let's go find a place to sleep for tonight." I whispered to him, not daring to turn to look at him because I was blushing like no ones business. I was so embarrassed that he had heard my heart beating like that.

"I know a cave opening close by here. It's really well hidden so I'm sure that  no one will be there," the King said and I nodded to him, still not looking at him.

I let him walk in front of me and soon enough we came upon a well hidden small cave that was behind two big bushes. Inside it had a narrow ceiling so we had to crawl to get inside.

"Nice place," I told him as a pulled a blanket out and put it on the ground. "I'm sorry the blanket is so small, I thought it would have just be me," I told him, scratching the back of my head. "You can rest on it, I'll sleep on the ground, it isn't that dirty."

"No," he said, his narrowing at me, "you will not be sleeping on that dirty floor. You and I can share the blanket."

"It's honestly fine," I told him, bowing my head. "We would have to squeeze together, and you really don't want that-"

"Miami," I shivered at his growl, "you and I will share. End of discussion."

"Okay," I said quietly and crawled onto the blanket, leaving most of it to him. Surprisingly his arm reached to wrap around my waist and he pulled me to lay on top of of his chest. Once again, my heart was beating wildly at the close proximity of our skin. "Um," I coughed, loving the feel of his arms around me.

"Miami," I turned my head to stare into his beautiful eyes. They glowed brightly and watched mine with seductiveness. He leaned his head closer to mine and before I knew what was happening, his mouth was now on mine, entrapping mine with his own. He let out a pleased groan and I felt a fire rush through me. It was amazing.

He pulled me more on top of him so that I was straddling his waist, but I didn't mind. I reached my hands up and ran them through his hair, tugging at the ends of it. Never have I felt this enticed with someone. I liked it.

We both pulled away to breath and stared at one another. My eyes widened at what we had just done and I pulled myself off of him, bowing my head. "I am so sorry, my King-"

His arms wrapped around me once again a don pulled me closer. "Don't be sorry," he told me before he pressed his lips against mine once more.
