The Girl Next Door - Pietro x Reader

Chapter Two

I hadn't seen him in forever and then Hydra announced that I had to help fight The Avengers. I freaked out I didn't want to fight them because I knew I'd die but I didn't have a choice. Hail Hydra right?

A few days later we left to go fight The Avengers. I was nervous but I had to prove myself to Hydra and I definitely couldn't let them catch on that I wasn't happy there.

We fought for hours upon hours then I saw him. I got distracted and got hit with something and flew backwards. I got up and ran as fast and as far as I could. I realized Hydra would come looking for me and I didn't care. Pietro was on the Avengers' side. I couldn't fight him. What I didn't realize was he saw me.

I saw a warehouse in the distance so I ran to it and hid inside. Then I heard footsteps.... uh oh... 

(Pietro's POV)

"Go get her. Don't let her escape." Wanda said.

"Okay."

I ran after the girl who ran and I saw her run into an old warehouse. I followed her inside.

"Hello? I know you're in here. Come out now and I won't hurt you."

No answer.

"I know you're in here. Save yourself the trouble and show yourself."

(Your POV)

After I heard him say that I came out of my hiding spot. It was him. It was Pietro...

"You." He said.

He recognized me? 

I didn't know what to do so I ran the other direction but within 3 seconds he was in front of me and I ran right into him. I started backing up but then I backed into a wall.

"Leave me alone." I said. "I don't want any trouble I just want to leave."

"I can't let you leave. I'm sorry. I have a job to complete."

"Yes you can. Pietro we know each other. You know I'd never hurt anyone."

"Are you with Hydra?"

"Yes but-"

"That makes you a threat and a target."

"I don't want to be with Hydra! They forced me into this I couldn't escape."

"How did you even get to Hydra in the first place?"

"I went looking for you."

(Pietro's POV)

She what? She was looking for me? 

"Look I need to go..." She said.

I didn't say anything. I was still in shock by what she said. When I looked back at her she was gone. I had one job and I failed... What's Wanda going to say? 

I walked back to the team and saw that we won. Wanda walked over to me.

"Where's the girl Pietro?"

"She got away."

"She what?"

"She. Got. Away."

"Did you get a name at least? that can help us get a location."

"Yeah. It's Y/n. Y/n Y/l/n."
