Chapter Twelve

"Noah..." I was shocked. 

I couldn't believe this was actually happening. 

"Y/n, the day you walked through that door I instantly fell for you. Your smile, your personality. The moment I talked to you I knew you were the one. You're beautiful and amazing and I love you so much. I can't imagine you not being in my life. Y/n, will you marry me?"

I looked at him for a moment before answering.

"Yes!"

He put the ring on my finger and then stood up and wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me. People around us were clapping. I guess proposals are something you clap for.

We went back to our apartment that we moved into together about a year ago and we got changed into more comfortable clothes and went over to Emma's house. She got married a few months ago.

We knocked on her door and her husband answered. Him and Emma have known each other for a few years. 

"Hey guys." Chris said.

"Hi Chris. Is Emma here?" I asked.

"Yeah come on in."

Me and Noah walked inside of their house and saw Emma sitting on the couch. She looked excited. We walked over and sat next to her.

"I have something to tell you." We said at the same time.

"Okay you go first." She said.

"Okay well..." I showed her the ring.

"He proposed!?" She asked in shock.

"Yes he did. Okay your turn."

She handed me a positive pregnancy test.

"No way. You're pregnant!?"

"Yeah I am."

We both got up and hugged each other.

After a few hours me and Noah went back home, watched some movies then went to bed. 

The next morning I woke up and didn't see Noah in bed with me so I got up and went to the kitchen and saw him cooking. I walked over to him and hugged him from behind so he turned around so we were facing each other and kissed me.

"Good morning my beautiful Fiance" He said.

"Morning. What are you making?" I asked.

"French toast."

I nodded then walked over to the couch and sat down. 

"Hey Y/n..."

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

I smiled.

"I love you too." 

We ate breakfast then went out shopping for gender neutral baby clothes. Relax they're for Emma. 

We went to a few shops around town then went over to her house and knocked on the door.

"Hey guys. What's the occasion?" Emma asked.

"Well we got you some baby clothes." I replied.

"But we don't know the gender yet Y/n."

"That's why we got gender neutral stuff."

"You guys are the best."

She hugged me then Noah and I handed her the bag of clothes. We talked for a while but then Noah said we had to go. Which was weird because I didn't have any plans for today but oh well. Noah took me out for lunch then we headed back home. Once we got there I walked into our bedroom to put some stuff away and saw something sitting on the bed.

Soon after I saw it Noah walked in behind me. 

"That's for you by the way." He said.

I wonder what it could be....
