The Girl Next Door - Pietro x Reader

Chapter Nine

"Pietro..."

"You don't have to say anything. I get it. You work for Hydra and I don't anymore. I just wanted to tell you that I forgive you."

I looked down and my phone which was the one I use to communicate with Hydra and I threw it on the ground and smashed it.

"Was that your phone?"

"No... That was how I talked to Hydra. I'm done with them. For real this time."

"Promise?"

"I promise and I'm not expecting you to trust me ever again because I totally ruined any chance of you being able to trust me and that really sucks be-"

Then he kissed me. I couldn't tell if it was to shut me up or not but I pulled away then ran to my old room. I don't know why I did that but I did and apparently Pietro followed me.

"Did I do something wrong?" He asked.

"No. No you didn't."

"Then why did you run up to your room?"

"Well it's not really my room anymore considering I don't live here... but I don't know I guess I just wasn't ready. I wasn't expecting you to kiss me and to what? Shut me up... I know I'm annoying but you didn't have to get me to stop talking by kissing me. You could have just said 'Hey shut up would ya?' that would've been fine."

"I didn't kiss you to shut you up Y/n."

"You didn't?"

"No. I kissed you because I love you, no matter what you do. Now were you lying or do you love me?"

"I love you and I wasn't lying. That's the one thing I didn't lie about... I umm I should get going. I'm not supposed to be here."

I walked over to the door and I was about to walk out but stopped when Pietro said something.

"Take me with you."

"What?"

"Take me with you."

"Pietro... I can't. You live here."

"Then let me live with you. We could get an apartment and some furniture and-"

"Pietro. You live here in the Tower you can't just live with me."

"Yes I can. I don't need to live in the Tower."

"What about Wanda?"

"She won't care. Please just let me live with you."

I thought about it for a moment then sighed.

"Fine. You can live with me"

He smiled then walked over to me and kissed me. This time I didn't pull away as fast. 

"Okay you should go tell Wanda."

"Okay."

He kissed me again then left to go find Wanda.

(Pietro's POV)

I finally found Wanda after a while.

"There you are." I said.

"You were looking for me?"

"Yeah I need to tell you something. Please don't be mad."

"Okay..."

"I'm moving out-"

"Why would I be mad about that?"

"Well you didn't let me finish. I'm moving out and into an apartment with Y/n...."

"What?" She sounded disappointed.

"I'm moving in with Y/n. Is that a problem?"

"She works for Hydra Pietro!"

"Not anymore!"

"And you trust her?"

"Yes as a matter of fact I do!"

"She lied to your face Pietro. I have no doubt in my mind that she would do it again."

"Well I trust her."

I walked away from Wanda and went up to my room to pack my things.

(Your POV)

I grabbed a few things from my old room then Pietro walked in with a bag in his hand.

"You ready Pietro?"

"Yup."

Then we left.
