Appearance (link optional): see pic as its him older
Personality (likes, dislikes etc): Sayer faces difficulty with impulse control, has problematic emotional response patterns, and extreme and distorted thinking patterns. As an adolescent, the affections and attention a normal kid should daily receive from his/her parents, and so he began to repeatedly participate in acts, acted in recklessness, and portrayed deceit; albeit while using discretion. Sayer Ptolemy does not experience genuine remorse for the harm he causes others, although he can become quite adept at feigning remorse when it's in his best interest.
Sayer tends to be very dramatic and prefers to be the center of attention, which in turn proves to be the result of someone attention deprived. He can be quite flirtatious and seductive. However; the way he tends to express himself is exaggerated, and yet at the same time vague, shallow, and lacking in detail.
Sayer has significant problems with his sense of self-worth, which stems from a powerful sense of entitlement that leads him to believe that he deserves special treatment, has special preference, is uniquely talented, and especially brilliant and attractive. This leads him to exhibit haughty and arrogant attitudes towards others and act in ways that fundamentally disregards the worth of others. Status seems to be very important to Sayer, in fact, it's the only thing that matters. In all actuality, Ptolemy actually has a fragile self-esteem, and requires a lot of admiration from others to bolster him.
Sayer's worse trait is his experience with unstable emotions and moods that can shift fairly quickly. He undergoes frequent outbursts of anger and engages in impulsive behaviors.
But he will learn to control his bad habits with the help of another reader character creation
Virtues/Strengths: Utilizing his own emotions to dictate how he manipulates the weather. If someone enrages him, he'll use that emotion to unleash a harsh thunderstorm. If that same someone made him feel tranquil and despotic, he would use that emotion to generate a calm whirlwind.
Vices/Weaknesses: Sayer has overcome the usual fear of fire, for he has found that he can terminate it with rain and wind. Instead, he has a newly developed fear of purifying light. The kind that is borne into the Fey.
Sexual orientation: Sayer is celibate. He seeks to appease those who intrigue him, and should sex be included in the act to appease he or she, then it will. (Otherwise Pansexual)
Family: Wife (Sarah Ptolemy) Son (Ezra Ptolemy) Daughter (Michelle Ptolemy) Mother (Margaret Ptolemy) Father (Daniel Ptolemy)
Background: Sayer was raised by his parents, with only one other sibling in his household. His father is a very prominent, high ranking politician in Rhode Island, and his mother works as a Hospital Manager, leaving him to interpret his worldly position as invaluable in response to the lack of attention. Sayer underwent long time spans of thinking about reasons why his parents hardly ever spent time with him, but instead provided him with materialistic things and superficial feelings; something he couldn't understand in it's entirety. His process of interpretation, and overall assigning of importance and meaning is what determined his domineering, psychotic, personality.
Field of magic most commonly used (if warlock): Transfiguration/Weather
