Beam gulped. The man in front of him, who was lying bare-chested and a bandage covering part of his forehead, was very . . . handsome.
Tan skin, muscles that look hard and perfectly formed, masculine facial lines, with a sharp gaze, sharp nose and lips shaped like a bow. He is very manly.
"Sorry. I was too caught up in chasing the bird and didn't see you driving down that road at all," Beam said softly. "But at least, I'm responsible."
Forth looked at Beam for a while and sighed. Why did this guy named Beam make everything look beautiful on him, even when his eyes flashed with guilt. He looked so adorable.
"How did you get me here?"
"I asked a tow truck to bring you here and then asked them to take your motorbike to the nearest repair shop. They charge a very high rate, because the location of this place is quite remote."
"Are you really a doctor? Which hospital do you work in?" asked Forth. He gestured for Beam to return to sit on his side on the edge of the seat, after he had spontaneously stood up because he was surprised to hear Forth's words about him jumping in front of Forth's motorbike for a bird.
Beam smiled and sat back in his place. He held a spoon filled with porridge into Forth's mouth. Forth's hand sprained when he fell and it was difficult for him to feed himself at this time. "I have just been accepted to work at the ShanVa Family Center in Bangkok, starting on the 12th of next month. Previously I worked at Mount Elisabeth Singapore."
Forth swallowed the porridge that Beam fed him quickly and then drank the medicine that Beam offered him, a few moments after eating. They were silent, busy with the contents of each other's thoughts during that time.
"Um, sorry, how old are you?" asked Beam suddenly. He had finished packing up Forth's cutlery and took the medicine box.
"Why ask?" asked Forth, tilting his head. Beam's white hands and long fingers moved swiftly to prepare items to change bandages and treat wounds.
Beam smiled. "We don't know each other, at least let me be polite. If you were younger than me, I'd call you Nong. If you're older than me, I should call you Phi."
Forth stared at Beam for a long time, until Beam sat again by his side on the bed with his medicine box. "Just Forth, then," Forth answered finally. "And we've known each other, since knowing each other's names, even talking about the same person in the history of this villa."
Beam chuckled. He leaned closer to Forth and extended his hands to Forth's sides. Forth stiffened. He could smell the vanilla scent from Beam's body. Sweet. Intoxocating. And that little laugh.
Beam adjusted the pillow behind Forth and helped Forth to move his body to a more comfortable seat. Beam's forehead touched the tip of Forth's chin and instantly Forth felt his blood rushing harder at some point in his lower body.
The eyelashes of the man in front of him were very long, and why did he have such red and beautiful lips?
"Well, let's change your bandages first."
Beam began to work deftly. He removed the old bandage, examined the wound, cleaned and applied medicine, then put on a new bandage. Meanwhile Forth was busy cursing his juniors down there which seemed to harden every time Beam touched him. Beam's scent is very tempting.
Beam looked at Forth's forehead with the new bandage with satisfaction. "You're like a wolf. They recover quickly after a fight, just by licking their wounds."
Forth was stunned. He tried to capture Beam's words as a plausible analogy. "You licked my wound to heal?" asked Forth with sparkling eyes. "After all, this was a motorcycle accident, not a fight."
Beam laughed again. "Just an analogy, Mr Forth. You'll be fully recovered in two or three days, I hope. Your bike may still be in the repair shop longer. I asked them to look for genuine and best parts, if anything breaks. However, you don't need to worry. I'll lend my car for you to continue the journey to your destination. You can stop by here to exchange my car for your motorbike again after you return."
"Uh? Continue my journey? What do you mean?" asked Forth confused. He winced as Beam applied disinfectant to one of the wounds on his arm.
"Weren't you on your way somewhere when we passed?"
"Indeed."
"Where are you headed? Is it still far from here?"
"Ouch, that really hurts."
"Ssh ... it's only for a moment," Beam stroked Forth's arm reassuring him.
"I'm here," Forth said calmly. He straightened himself.
Beam raised his head and looked away from the wound on Forth's hand.
"Hmm?"
"I've arrived at my destination. Here."
Beam's eyes widen and his lips parted. "You... do you intend to come here?"
Forth couldn't take it anymore. He stretched out his left hand, gently tugging Beam's nape until their faces were only a few centimeters apart and the vanilla scent of Beam made Forth drunk.
Beam gasped when something soft and warm touched his lips. Forth kissed him. Smooth. Gently. Intoxicating. Beam closed his eyes and drown in cinnamond aroma from Forth.
