"You, a prince?" asked Beam. He stood with wide eyes in front of a magnificent 2-story house. The model of the building is modern, with large windows, a beautiful garden and tall, sturdy pillars, pool and gazeebo.
"This is my parents' house," Forth replied with a laugh.
Beam turned and raised an eyebrow. "But . . . why did you bring me here? Do you really live here or what?"
"I have my own apartement, but I'd like to introduce you to my family. It's a sign that I seriously want you and just as two people are getting engaged, at least the family should know about it, right? I want to do it the right way, Baby."
Beam's face slowly decorated with a beautiful pink color. He bit his lower lip and looked at Forth with sparkling eyes.
Beam is an introvert who hides a lot of his hurt and sadness behind his "I'm fine" attitude and sweet smile that captivates many people. He doesn't like receiving attention, though in truth, his physical appearance alone is sure to make many people turn and admire him.
Beam always assumes that people approach and like him because there is a certain purpose behind it. For Beam, there is no one who truly loves and cares for him.
Forth's accidental encounter, their ten days together, Forth's attitude and concern for him, and Forth's confession, made Beam look at the figure beside him in a different way.
So far, Beam only has two friends who have been with him since he was a toddler, but Forth is different. He was sure of his feelings for Beam from the first time he met and also sure to express his feelings in the right way to keep Beam's honor.
Forth is sincere and straightforward. He knows what he wants and how to make it happen. He is a gentleman in and out, a manly and warm heart man.
Beam always closes his heart, takes care of himself, keeps himself busy in his own world, and does not like to mingle in crowds or get involved in matters that are not related to his interests.
However, Forth made him feel different. Together with Forth, Beam found himself so easy to smile, chuckle, blush at just a glance, a mischievous smile, and a touch.
Beam could cry shamelessly, feel comfortable because Forth was by his side, feel safe because Forth was watching him, and feel like he was in heaven when Forth kissed him.
"Baby? What are you thinking? Why daydream?" asked Forth, touching the tip of Beam's nose with his index finger. He really liked the shape of Beam's nose that was banged up.
Beam smiled weakly. "What if your family doesn't like me? After all, I'm also a man. They might prefer you to be with a beautiful woman."
Forth wrapped his arms around Beam's slender waist and whispered in his ear. "You know, Beam, I've never in my life seen someone so much more beautiful than you. As for my family, you have to meet them first so you know who you're up against. Come on."
Beam followed Forth's lead. His eyes widened as he entered the house.
"Mom, I'm home," Forth half shouted.
"Is that you, Baby Bear? I'm in the kitchen, honey," said a woman's voice, as sweet as a bird's chirping.
Forth took Beam's hand, when suddenly he jerked back a few steps. Beam was shocked and almost fell if Forth didn't hold his back.
"Uncle Bear, uncle Bear." A small voice yelled.
Beam stared in amazement, a small round child with big eyes and red lips was in Forth's arms. Apparently it was the boy who had hit Forth's leg.
"Baby Bunny, you're getting rounder," Forth teased, pinching the little boy's cheeks and belly.
The child giggled. He kissed Forth's face with a wet kiss, but then stopped when his eyes met Beam's. His fat hand pointed at Beam. "Uncle Bear, you just came back from heaven?"
"Hum? What do you mean, Baby Bunny?"
The little boy whispered in Forth's ear while glancing at Beam. "I thought you were being followed by an angel. He's behind you and staring at us. Can you see him?"
Forth turned and looked at Beam. He whispered to the little boy in a serious manner. "I think you're right. I can see him standing looking at us."
"You will probably fly to heaven after you die, Uncle Bear, because the angels following you are so beautiful. If you sin a lot and have to go to hell, you will be followed by scary angels."
"Yes, you are right. The angel is very beautiful. Do you think she wants me to be my lover?"
The little boy smiled. "I think I could ask him. But he might be kicked out of heaven for liking humans, right? Poor him, Uncle Bear."
Beam couldn't help but smile. He reached out and touched the boy's cheek. “Uncle Bear, I changed my mind. I won't take you to heaven, but this kid looks better than you, so maybe I'll just take him.”
Forth burst into laughter, seeing the confused face of the boy in his arms. He kissed the tip of the boy's nose and pulled Beam by the waist close to him.
"Oh Baby, you really make me happy. Beam, this is Baby Bunny. His name is Felix, but no one calls him that. Except for his mother, when he scolds him. Baby Bunny, this is Uncle Beam, my fiancé. He is a human like us, even looks more like an angel and he often makes me feel like I'm in heaven."
Beam pinched Forth's waist. "Hi, Baby Bunny. I'm Beam. Nice to meet you. You are so lovely."
"H-hi... Uncle Angel," Baby Bunny replied shyly.
"Oh, you're so adorable." Beam couldn't help himself. He walked over to Baby Bunny and kissed his cheek passionately.
Baby Bunny was stunned and a moment later his scream echoed throughout the vast room. "Grandmaaa... I'm already married to Uncle Angel."
Forth and Beam looked at each other.
