Wayo pouted, when for the umpteenth time Phana gently pinched his thigh under the table. "It hurts, Phi," Wayo whispered annoyed.
"Then stop staring at him with those longing eyes," Phana hissed in annoyance. "I know he's your idol musician, but it's not appropriate to stare at another man constantly while your lover is beside you and that person's fiancé is next to him."
Wayo blushed. He leaned his face towards Phana and blinked his round eyes in front of his pouting lover in a seductive manner. "I'll be ready to accept my punishment tonight, my beloved Phi Phana, but now let me admire my idol while I can."
Phana sighed and kissed Wayo's nose gently. "Careful, the Phi Beam you love is much more possessive than me, honey. Don't let him caught you."
On the other hand, Ming was pouting, because Kit didn't pay attention to him but continued to watch Forth who was now cutting the steak on Beam's plate.
"So you guys really just met on that road at the accident?" asked Park, looking at Beam with interest. "You've never met Forth before, Beam?"
"Yeah, I've never met Forth before," Beam nodded. "I was surprised when he mentioned his name, not because he's a celebrity, but because I've heard his name mentioned by my adoptive mother in connection with the villa."
"You didn't know she was a celebrity?" Max asked confused. He nudged Tul and smiled. "So it turns out, Forth isn't that famous, eh, Babe?"
"Hey, I'm not famous and I don't feel famous," Forth spat in annoyance. "You think so yourself."
"But you are famous, Phi," Ming interrupted in awe. "Your music is beautiful and pleasing to the ears. Isn't that right, Phi Kit?"
Kit nodded enthusiastically, so did Wayo. Kit and Wayo really like Forth's music and they idolized him before Beam knew him.
Lam looked closely at Beam. "Are you a doctor, Beam? So are you, Phana and Kit?"
"Yes. We have been close since we were in school, although Beam later moved to Singapore," replied Phana.
"Phana's father helped me get a place in the hospital here," continued Beam. "And Kit's mother found me an apartment."
"You won't be using the apartment again after you move here, will you, Beam," Kit said, patting Beam on the shoulder. "You deserve more to be here."
Lam smiled to Forth. "I'm glad you've finally found the right person for you, Forthie. It's about time."
Ford just nodded. He looked at Beam who was separating the peas from the soup in his bowl with a serious face.
Forth leaned toward Park and Lam in front of him and whispered, "You see, he even knew I hated peas only after seeing me once remove them from my steak. Now, I'm free from peas forever without having to bother throwing them myself. He's perfect."
Tul hit Forth's head with the custard spoon lightly. "You have to be perfect for him, Forthie. He's a doctor and looking at his angelic appearance, compared to you, you have to be careful. I'm sure a lot of people will try to steal him from you if you don't take good care of him."
Everyone laughed at Tul's words. Beam raised his face in confusion. He looked at Forth with a questioning look. "What is it?"
Forth smiled and leaned in to kiss the side of Beam's head. "You smell like a strawberry. I want to chew you."
Beam smiled shyly and handed him a bowl of soup that was free of peas. "Finish it, before it gets cold. I've got all your enemies out of there."
Phana and Kit looked at each other with teary eyes, seeing the way Beam looked at Forth. As long as they had known Beam, they had never seen such a look Beam gave anyone else.
Beam is always cold and keeps his distance. He was polite, but didn't mince words. He smiled but only his lips. Beam never opened his heart to anyone, even sometimes Phana and Kit felt unable to reach his heart and guess what was in his mind.
Right now, what they saw was a different Beam. His eyes shone because the smile on his lips reached far into the depths of his eyes that shone with love.
For a man with a muscled body, tan skin, with a sharp gaze, earrings and tattoos, but smiling adoringly at him. The way Forth touched Beam was possessive, but also protective and safe.
Wayo whispered. "Phi Forth and Phi Beam love each other."
It was almost two o'clock in the morning when everyone finally said their goodbyes after getting together to clean up the remnants of the party.
Lam hugged Beam gently. "Take good care of my best friend. He may look like a rocker, but he's actually a poet at heart."
Beam laughed and nodded. He pointed at Park who seemed to be saying something to Max and Forth. "I know, Lam. And by the way, you and Park look good together."
Lam's face reddened. He looked at Park's back. "We...just friends."
Beam raised an eyebrow. "Move, Lam. Get him. He's a nice guy. Funny too."
Forth approached Lam and Beam. He wrapped his arms around Beam's waist. "What are you guys talking about?"
"Just this and that," answered Beam, kissing Forth's chin.
Beam plopped down on the sofa after everyone had left. He was happy even though he was tired. Forth locked the door and sat down next to Beam. He picked up Beam and lifted him up, placing him on his lap with his face facing him.
Beam wrapped his arms around Forth's neck. "I like your friends. They are nice and funny. You are lucky with them."
"Your friends too. They can be relied on. I'm glad you were with them when you haven't met me," Forth said as he brushed the bangs off Beam's forehead. He looked up and kissed Beam's chin. "Are you tired?"
Beam lowered his head and landed a kiss on Forth's lips. "I miss you."
Forth felt his cheeks warm. Beam pressed his forehead against Forth's and whispered in a seductive voice. "Don't you want to thank me, Daddy Bear, for trying to get all the peas out of your soup earlier?"
Forth grabbed Beam's neck and kissed him. "You're driving me crazy, Baby."
