"Are you sure, Forth?" asked Grant with a questioning look. "You won't regret it later?"
Forth shook his head firmly. "No, Phi. I've been thinking about this for days, in fact long before I even met Beam, I've been thinking about this. I just haven't found the right moment to make it happen. Now, with everything I've been through and Beam's presence, I think I have time for me to make it happen."
"Have you discussed it with Beam? You may need to ask his opinion."
"He will agree, regardless of the reason."
"You love him very much, don't you, Forth?"
Ford laughed. Grant patted Forth gently on the shoulder. "I'll support whatever decision you make, especially if it's good for you. I'm also glad you finally met Beam. He's been so good to you, and vice versa."
"I know Phi and yes, I love him very much."
"We're having a limited meeting, two weeks from now. In the meantime I think you'll have to go the extra mile to sort things out in the next two weeks."
"I'm ready, Phi. Don't worry."
Forth came out of Grant's office with a grin on his face.
Nami stopped his steps near the lobby. "Phi Forth, you should check out some clothes for next week's expo," Nami said with a pout. "You keep disappearing and I have to run around looking for you."
Forth laughed and patted Nami's shoulder gently. "Hey, I trust you. You always know what's best for me, so I'll always agree with your references."
Nami sighed as Forth stepped out of the lobby. Forth drove his car to the hospital. Beam was about to finish his shift in a few minutes and he wanted to surprise him by picking him up.
Forth got out of the elevator on the floor where Beam was on duty. He slipped between the patients and nurses as he walked over to where Beam was standing, in front of the administration counter.
"No shame!"
Forth's steps froze a few steps behind Beam when suddenly a woman threw a cup of coffee at Beam.
Beam gasped, and several of the nurses behind the counter shouted. The woman raised her hand and slapped Beam hard. Beam staggered back a step.
"Hey, Miss, what are you doing," shouted Vom, the head nurse on duty. He grabbed Beam's shoulder from behind the counter. "Doctor Beam, are you all right?"
Beam shook his head and shook off his coffee-soaked clothes. Another nurse--Mia, held out a small towel and helped Beam clean his face.
"You shameless man," the woman shouted, pointing at Beam's face. He lunged at Beam again, but Vom and Mia stopped her.
"Miss, if you dare touch Doctor Beam again, I will make the security officers call the police to arrest you," threatened Vom.
"He took my boyfriend," the woman shouted. "You damn gay, you have no shame! How could you turn yourself in like a cheap slut to my future husband."
Beam's eyebrows rose. "Miss, you may have the wrong person," said Beam calmly.
"No! You made Forth turn away from me. You made him forget me. How could you..." The woman sobbed histerycaly.
"Baby, what happened?" said Forth who could no longer contain himself. He stood behind Beam and wrapped his arms around Beam's waist. Vom and Mia gasped and looked at Forth with eyes full of admiration. Forth smiled and nodded at them.
Beam looked up and smiled. "Babe, why are you here? I guess you still have to pick out clothes for the expo?"
Forth wiped the coffee stain on Beam's cheek and kissed his forehead. "Nami can take care of it." He looked at the woman in front of them who was now rushing towards him.
"Forth, Baby, are you here?" the woman tried to approach Forth, but the stocky Vom pushed her away.
"What are you doing, Darla? Why are you making a new drama here?" asked Forth coldly. "You hurt my fiancé."
The woman--Darla pointed at Beam sarcastically. "Forth, he must be using black magic to lure you in, right? You love me, we're good lover and suddenly he comes and turns you away from me. You shameless slut!"

A slap made Darla stagger a few steps back. Beam held Vom's hand which was held high. "Phi Vom ..." said Beam surprised.
Vom pointed at Darla angrily. "You really embarrass me as a fellow woman," shouted Vom angrily. "How can you, who so cheaply profess to love Mr. Forth, humiliate him and lose face and hurt the one he loves?"
Forth grabbed Vom's shoulder gently. "Let me handle it, Phi Vom. It's an honor to know such an honorable woman like you and it puts me at ease because you are with my Beam."
Vom blushed and he glared once more at Darla before going over to Beam and standing next to him with Mia.
Forth pointed to Darla's face, which was red from Vom's slap. "Next time, I'll do it myself, Darla. I don't care if I have to hit a woman if she dares to hurt someone I love and act unreasonably like you are doing now. Go, before I embarrass you."
"Forth, Baby, why would you have the heart to do that?" wailed Darla and tried to reach Forth.
"Darla, I'm going to call my lawyer to remind you of the deal you agreed to earlier, or do you want to go straight to jail for this matter?"
Darla's face paled. He took a few steps back and pointed at Beam hatefully. "I'm not done yet, damn doctor! Forth is mine! Mine!"
Beam slumped limply to the floor after Darla left.
"Mr. Forth, there is an empty doctor's rest room over there, please bring Doctor Beam there," Mia said.
Forth nodded and grabbed Beam, carrying him in bridal style to the room Mia pointed to. Beam sat on the bed trembling. Forth helped Beam take off his wet shirt and replace it with a plain shirt that Beam pointed to.
"Baby, I'm sorry," Forth whispered as he carried Beam on his lap and hugged Beam to his chest. "I didn't know she would show up again. I thought she was removed after that last incident."
Beam hid his face in the crook of Forth's neck and shook his head. "No, honey, it's not your fault. I'm okay, just surprised."
"I'll take care of this right away, Baby. Soon, nothing like this will ever happen to you again," Forth said softly.
He cupped Beam's face with both hands and kissed the tip of Beam's nose. "I've spoken to Phi Grant."
"Hm? Talking about what?" asked Beam confused. He kissed Forth's forehead.
"I'm retiring," Forth said.
Beam was stunned.
