3. First Days Suck

Kouichi Reiji POV

Today's my first day at this school. Well first official day. I walk around and decide to go outside for lunch. I sit at a tree and look out at the soccer/football field. There I see him, the guy I've been avoiding all morning. I get up and begin to leave. That was until I felt someone grab my arm. I turn around and look at him.

"Wow, so this is your hair color. It's beautiful. Want to eat with my friends and I?" He asks

"Let me go. I don't want to hang out with anyone. It's useless to make any friends. I'll just leave in a couple of months anyways. Leave me alone." I say coldly

"If you're trying to push me that's not gonna happen. We'll be friends. Just wait." He smiles "Now, how are you not sweating? It's 95 degrees and you're in a black hoodie!"

I just hum and yank my arm back. I leave and walk somewhere else.

"Why are you following me?" I ask

"Because I want to be friends with you." He says 

"STOP!!!" I yell

"What?" He asks

"I DONT WANT FRIENDS SO JUST GO BE WITH YOUR STUPID LITTLE GANG AND LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" I snap

People begin to whisper. 

"EVERYONE SHUT UP. NO, I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT HAZEL!!! EVERYONE NEEDS TO SHUT THE FUCK UP!! GOD WHY ISNT THE WORLD QUIET!?!" I laugh putting my head into my hand

"Reiji.." he begins

"Kouichi pl-" Hazel begins

"NO!!! SHUT UP!!!" I yell

"Everyone please proceed to your classes." I hear someone say

I sit against the wall banging my head on the wall.

"He's coming for me, he's coming for me, he's coming for me." I repeat over and over

"Reiji, who's coming?" Someone asks

"He, he's coming. Why, why, why? Leave me alone! WHY THE FUCK WONT ANYONE SHUT UP!!!" I scream 

"Sweetie? Sweetie, it's me, mom." She says

I scream and grip my head.

"KOUICHI COME WITH ME!!!" He yells "YOU CAN NEVER GET RID OF ME!!"

"Pleasepleasepleaseplease leave me alone." I sob out

It's hard to breath.

"Kouichi, please listen to me. He's not coming. He can't get you." She says

I look up and see him sneer at me. I get up shakily and quickly.

"There, there, he's there, there, " I say

"You're crazy Kouichi, no one believes you." He says

"Here?" The principal touches him 

I nod my head.

"Your mother doesn't love you. No one loves you! Who would?! Everyone wants you dead!" He yells

My eyes widen and he passes right through me. I fall and see nothing but black.

Yamato Yuma POV

He falls and I catch him before he hits his head. 

"What was that?" I ask

"He has Schizophrenia. That was him snapping." His mom replies sobbing

I look at him sadly. Why does someone so cute suffers so much? 

"Can I come with you? To help look after him." I ask

"If your principal and parents are fine with it then sure." She replies

"I'm fine with it and his parents would understand." He replies

I pick him up and carry him to his mom's car. I put him in the front and buckle him up. He groans but that's understandable since I did hit his head on the door. His mom drives us to their house and I look at the neighborhood disgustedly but then again I do have to remember not everyone is as rich as me so I stop with the look. 

"I'm sorry about our house, we just moved in 2 days ago and haven't really had the time to unpack anything so just be careful taking him upstairs." She smiles

"Thank you" I smile back and carry Reiji upstairs to what I believe is his room. His room looks bare and the boxes lay stacked in his closet.

'Isn't he going to unpack soon?' I think to myself

I open one of the boxes.

"What are you doing?" He asks

"I was just looking at what kind of books you have." I reply

"Don't go looking through my stuff without my permission." He says pissed off

He gets up and closes the box putting it back to where it was.
