Bzzzzt. Bzzzzzztt. There is a faint buzzing coming from outside the plane. Itching to take out my Katana, but knowing I couldn't because of rules and it being too well hidden it would break my heart to unbind it, I nearly peeked out the window. But my window was facing toward the sun, so if I opened it, I would surely blind myself. Instead I shiver uncomfortably at the ear-ringing buzzing. The stewardesses are running in and out of the cockpit, looking confused and frightened. They keep coming up to me because I'm a 'small child' and they are 'supposed to keep an eye on me and provide extra services'. My training center paid more for the luxury, and personally, I love the attention.
Ding. "Hello. This is your captain speaking. We are heading into a large cloud, and turbulence may be ahead. Please, take a seat, buckle your seatbelts, and close your window shades. Thanks you. If you need any assistance with anything, don't hesitate to ask one of our lovely stewardesses for help. They will be more than welcome. Enjoy the remainder of your plane ride to ---... - choc-l-" Silence. Oxygen masks drop from the ceiling and seatbelts lock tighter while cushions popped up under our seats. Some screamed. Some cried, but most pulled out their phones and called loved ones or the police. I laugh and walk towards the exit door. Some people try to stop me, but they are too busy with themselves to notice me. Someone screams, pointing at me, and I swear. I was almost there! I pull open the container of parachutes and strap one on. "Hold your breath, or put on an oxygen mask!" I yell, still having everyone's attention. I sigh and strip off the binding from my katana and hold it in front of me. I pull an oxygen mask out and its container of oxygen and strap it on. I open the door, salute, and fall out the window, laughing maniacally the whole time at their fear stricken faces. I look back at the accursed plane and see yellow and black things bumping into the sides. They, they can't be, can they? No, there's no way unless there are some seriously messed up radioactivity/adaptation going on. Giant bumblebees bumping into a giant plane! I must be seeing things. I turn away from the blasphemed sight and pull the red string, then the blue. I wait for the parachute to pop out. It never does.
I start getting a slight sheen of sweat on my forehead when I see I'm going to land in the middle of a forest. I put away my katana and furiously start pulling blue, then red. Blue, then red. Blue, then red. It never works. Right before I reach the tree line at about 114 mph, I see a streak of silver and red running underneath me and a pair of glowing, amber eyes. I flip over to let the backpack take the brunt of the pain. I hear a faint howling as I crash into a tree trunk and a branch impales my arm. Agonizing pain, everywhere, all the time. My life becomes consumed with pain. Milliseconds turn into hours. Seconds turn into days. Minutes turn into weeks. I fall unconscious for a quick second when my head slams into the trunk of an old oak. Another howl as I close my eyes and darkness overcomes me. I take a deep breath, inhale, and exhale. I fell my limbs turn into lead and become limp and numb against the ever present torture. My head lolls into a shallow ditch beside the trunk. Silvery shapes surround me. I close my eyes, succumbing to the pull of the Void.

A/N: Hey, this is Ares here. I hope you enjoyed this first chapter! This is my first book, so if you have any suggestions I would really appreciate them.
Yes, this is a spin-off of Magica. But I have permission to write this! You can ask Rose, aka Pointedancer10, and she will say yes! So please, don't report this thinking it is stealing someone's work. That will jut be a big misunderstanding that I don't think anyone wants to go through. Thank you!
