Mew was standing in the balcony looking at the dark sky with a glass of champagne in his hand . It felt nostalgic. Like the other day when he was looking at stars thinking about what he did with his co star.

There was a elite party going on but he was lost. Had he not spent the night with Gulf, his condition would have been a little better .

Hearing the person tell you how much they love you just before parting was hell.

And whatever progress he made in moving on reverted but yeah he knew it was coming so even if it hurt he was able to hold himself . Or that's how life is, he has responsiblities which doesn't allow him to curl up in bed and cry all day.

Mew doesn't know why he's thinking about Gulf a lot today....

His black suit , styled hair , and cologne surely didn't go unnoticed by women in the party.

They were all from elite families and very few actresses were present too, mostly those who married or had a thing with business men .

But Mew was here with his family , his family had a reputable business .

This made him more wanted. Especially among actresses.

A actress placed her hand on his shoulder hoping to gain Mew's attention. This made Mew turn his head abruptly to see who it was.

" Hey handsome, what's so special about those stars out there that you chose to avoid the ones inside " she said with a smile.

He didn't know her, but Mew was never known for being outright rude, especially to people he didn't know.

" Evening miss" he returned her smile before turning back but it didn't stop the lady's advances.

By now Mew was confused on how to respond , he wasn't interested but he can't shout at her ,at the same time he didn't want to give her false hope.

" Seems like I made you wait for a long time" a girl in early 20s cut in between and the lady.

Huh who's is this? Mew was confused .

" I'm sorry dear". The girl said to Mew with guilt. This made the other lady confused and silent.

" It's fine ". Mew replied immediately.

" Thank you miss for keeping his company. I ll carry on from here. Have a great evening." The girl clicked her glass to that of the lady's before faintly touch Mew's elbows and distancing them from the now angry lady.

" Thanks" Mew said once the lady was gone.
"Not a big deal" the girl shrugged and looked into the crowd as if checking for someone.

" Are you looking for someone?" Mew questioned.

" Actually yes. But can't find him." The girl turned to give Mew a weak smile.

Mew was looking at her face thinking about something, someone.

" What happened? " The girl asked as she saw Mew was lost.

Mew gave her a sad smile before telling her" Nothing, your jaw reminds me of someone. Sorry for staring" and turned his face away.

"That person must be really special to you " the girl said .

" What? Why do you say that? " Mew stammered.

" From the way you looked and the way you act " the girl said .

" That's not important. It's all past now" Mew didn't know why he was talking to a stranger about all this, maybe because he had to speak to someone about his grief.

" If they still haunt you then they're not your past yet." The girl said.

Well I thought she was young but she speaks like a old wise lady. Mew smiled internally.

" Their presence in my life is a past, not my feelings for them." He said.

" Isn't it stupid to let someone who love slip from you ?" The girl asked looking into Mew's eyes.

" Cowardice maybe" Mew said.

" You really love her . " The girl said with a amused look.

Mew smiled at her.

" So she doesn't like you?" The girl guessed and immediately but her lips once she reliased what she did.

Shit. Why are you being noisy with this man.
" I'm sorry I didn't... "

" You part for other reasons. Sometimes you could be full in love but part due to circumstances." Mew intrupted.

" It's like choosing the circumstance more than love".

" I thought you were looking for someone" Mew said with a playfully smile.

" Well , I was kinda nervous and didn't look at his picture properly when mom showed it." The girl said moving her hands as she spoke.

" Mm" Mew nodded sipping his drink.

" So what are you gonna do next". The girl asked. She was not good at socializing especially with guys but here she was digging a guy' s personal.

" Well , focus on my career." Mew said.

" That's not what I meant.". The girl said softly.

Mew's phone vibrated and the girl froze for a second once she saw his picture in the homescreen.

" Well dodge marriage till I can" Mew answer in funny tone.

" You'll forget that person?" The girl asked as if she was heartbroken.

" No. Wounds heal scars are left behind" Mew said and drank his drink in one go.

" Two of you lose your happiness and you'll ruin another girl's life too" the girl unconsciously said.

" I can be a good husband and give her love little one. I'm not the first person on earth to do this". Mew defended.

" But you have someone else in your heart. You know that's true infidelity in my opinion." She said before she started moving.

" I'll get going. Nice to meet you" and she started to walk away.

" If I could I would have stayed with them" Mew said to her.

" Wish you end up together" the girl said with a smile and walked away.

Gulf looked at the screen. It was his ex girlfriend Minni. They brokeup on good terms but never really texted eachother causally.

What does she want.. he questioned while opening the message.

It was a photo of her on cover of a magazine. And another photo of them taken during they were dating.
