21) His love

" Hey darling, you're home" Mew who was on the couch working on his laptop told Gulf who just entered.

Gulf blinked shocked before smile " yeah , how was your day Phi" he asked trying to sound cheerful but Mew could sense he was tired.

He stood up and gave Gulf a hug before taking his bag from him….

He knew Gulf was drained, he knew Gulf will have to stop working soon but he choose to stay silent and let time decide.They just started this relationship , he doesn't want any discussion now.

" My day was good , how about yours? You look tired" Mew commented as he sat down and pulled Gulf on his lap.

" Ah , yeah, the shoot was a little tiring. Had to shoot , friends and food  for Gtv with kao and the host. All that they offered were too sweet for my liking" Gulf hugged Mew and placed his chin on Mew 's shoulder.

Mew could feel Gulf pouting . He just rubbed the younger .

" When will it air ?" Mew asked , not knowing what to say.

Wrong move.

" Valentine's day" Gulf answered softly.

Gulf was tired and his mind was a little messy too. He knew Mew doesn't kao when it comes to him. He has felt it when they all met for some live.
Gtv trying to ship them didn't help.

" Oh okay" was all Mew said.

He was aware of the channel's intentions. He also knew that they wanted Gulf away from Mew, that's the reason he stayed away from Gulf after he signed the contract. He knew it was a very beneficial thing to be under a channel, that too one that big.

But  things are different now. It will surely cause problems, especially when Gulf will have to take a break when he starts showing.

" Nong, have you planned your schedule according to our current state? I mean , I'm sure you'll complete all the pending projects soon but what about the contract?They can call you whenever they want for a year." He asked .

" Mmm. I'll see what I can do phi. I'll ask my manager to negotiate with them. Let's tell I have some disease? Maybe we can get fake reports. I just hope they don't ask for termination. The amount is huge." He said.

It pissed Gulf a little how he has to compromise on work while Mew won't.

Well Mew also did compromise on his work . He wouldn't be home so early if he didn't. He did ask his manager to wait and not sign any drama.

" I'm always there for you," Mew said . He will pay the money if it comes to it . They just can't afford to reveal Gulf's pregnancy, the media will go crazy. It will affect everyone, especially Gulf.

Being physically and emotionally stressed was more than what a person can handle, he didn't want to add mental stress to that .

" How about we feed you first?" Mew asked before getting up , leaving Gulf on the couch.

" Yes please" Gulf said as he slumped back.

" Fresh up, I'll prepare the plate, I got dinner from home. Mom made it for us. " Mew said.

Gulf slept early these day due to fatigue and Mew's cuddles.

So he was surprised when he suddenly woke up in the middle of the night. He checked the time,
2: 07AM.

The first thing that came to his mind was ramen with egg soup .
He felt like he'd cry any moment soon.

It's been 5 weeks into his pregnancy, this is the first time he felt the urge to eat something so bad, sadly in the middle of the night .

He felt like waking Mew up, but stopped.
Mew always went to bed at proper time, but Gulf knew he was working late these days. He had seen Mew work after he fell asleep , when he woke up the other day to use the restroom.

He just covered himself with the blanket and turned away from Mew and tried to sleep it off but ended up crying on the pillow .

He just wanted to eat ramen with egg soup, is that wrong?

It was 2:24, the condo was quiet, suddenly a little shuffling sound was heard, then it was quiet again. Now the noise was a bit loud, and different.
Metal clinging could be heard.

They came from the kitchen, Gulf managed to sneak away quietly without waking Mew.

Currently he was searching for ramen.  Knowing Mew it was unlike for him to have packs of ramen but Gulf just didn't want to give up.

That little thing inside him , is the one at fault.

Like expected , there was no ramen but there was a pack of instant noodles, the ones that had almost no seasoning.

This will do, Gulf thought .

" What are you doing darling?"

Gulf's heart almost popped out. Someone please ask Mew to not scare him like this if he wants his baby and darling to be healthy.

Gulf immediately placed the flour pack in his hand back to block the noodle pack lying in the cupboard.

How bad can his day be?

" I …. I wasn't able to sleep, so came to have something.." he stammered.

" What to want to have " Mew asked gently rubbing his eyes to ward off sleep.

Gulf gulped.. Can someone look so hot doing that..
" Uh…mm milk " good, now he has to drink milk.

Mew pulled a stool for Gulf and went near the cabinets.
" You can always wake me up Gulf"

Yeah yeah , wake you up and drink milk… Gulf thought looking at his lap.

" If it's for milk or for noodles" he completed.

Yeah milk…. Wait what Gulf raised his head and look at mew with eyes and o shaped lips.

Mew was smiling at him while stirring the noodle.

" Stop being cute, I'm making the noodles anyway". Mew said as he turned to the fire.

Did Mew just make him noodle? Oh god, he must be dreaming, he won't give him something that is unhealthy…

Mew knew it wasn't healthy, but doctors said Gulf could have them occasionally.

" Here, it's hot, be careful. And I'm not a great chef like you know so forgive me if it's not good.  But promise me you'll eat fruits tomorrow" Mew said while holding the bowl and looking at Gulf with love .

Now Gulf felt like crying again..
He didn't get the ramen and soup he craved for , why is he feeling this overwhelmed?
Maybe because he got what he craved for from years.... His Love, officially
