"God, can't you be any more annoying?"
The red headed man snapped, having his back face you while he was cleaning a few cups some men from earlier used.

Your heart started to rapidly beat, and your face heating up in slight embarrassment and offence.
Why was he so.. mean? What did I do wrong?

"Are you alright Diluc? What did I do wrong?" You asked quietly,
looking off to the side only because you were scared of who knows what was gonna happen.
You were in for a big surprise. Not a good one, a truly painful one.

"What does it look like to you? Am I 'alright'? Could you use your little brain for once?"
He looked back at you angrily, clearly pissed off. & You don't know why.

You fumbled with the bracelet that was hanging off of your wrist.
Fear overtook your body, it felt like you were almost out of breath. Diluc was absolutely terrifying when he was mad, but you wouldn't know why he was mad. Especially why he was at you.

You coughed awkwardly, still not looking at him. A thousand thoughts filled your mind. Why did his behaviour concern you? You'd sometimes see him furious at times, but why did this time feel different? It was as if..
It was your fault.

Maybe it was the time you forgot to pay him back? Or was it when you were behind schedule on that one meet up you made?
You shook your head. Diluc isn't one to be upset over those little things. Though, if he wasn't upset over those, then what was he so irritated about?

"Look, are you gonna go or what? Your presence here is not needed."

You were taken aback. Up to this point, you weren't sad or anything. Pure anger filled you. The hell is up with him?

"Okay, what the hell is up with you? All I did was to come here, and try to make you cheer up a lil', and this is what I get? Your bitchiness?" You exclaimed.

"I don't need you. Get out." Diluc said, gripping the glass mug in anger.
If held stronger, it would've broken into little fragments.

You didn't budge, you were standing in the same place. You wanted to know why he was so bratty, why he was so rude.

Silence filled the tavern. Blood trickled down your head, mixing with the thin salty stream of tears going down your face. Your head was hung down low, you were avoiding his gaze. Fear flooded your whole body, you never knew he was capable of doing something like this to you.

Shattered glass shards scattered across the hardwood floor. You were trembling in fear.

"You should've listened to me, but your hardheaded self did not listen. You did this to yourself, stupid.", His voice echoed throughout the room. He didn't even ask if you were okay, but instead blamed his terrible actions saying it was your fault.

You stumbled a little, trying to get up slowly. You held onto a stool that was in front of you. Things were getting a little blurry, you didn't feel so well.

When you looked over at Diluc, it seemed that he stopped what he was doing. He just looked at you with regret.

...

"Please get out. I can't bear to see you especially after what you've done to me."

What?.. What did I exactly do? I'm so lost.. I'm confused..

You furrowed your eyebrows together, whilst squinting your eyes. The light over your head seemed to get brighter and brighter by the minute.

"Fine. I don't even know what I've done wrong.

But right now? I feel like being with you was one thing."

You said coldly, gritting your teeth, and glaring at the shock man in front of you.

As you pushed open the wooden door in front of you, you were greeted with a cold gust of wind, making you shake.

You exhaled slowly, having a little small puff of clouds come from your mouth.

You hugged yourself, quickly standing upright and taking off to your home.
