There you were, inside of your home looking up at the nights sky. The moon shone beautifully on your face.

Tears streamed down your face while your throat burned trying to keep them in. You sniffled and hiccuped trying to contain everything in you. It was difficult doing so.

Rewind 5 hours ago, you were waiting for your significant other, Kaeya, for his arrival at Good Hunter.

You were feeling giddy, you were excited to meet up with him once again. It's been quite some time since you ever had time with your boyfriend. He stated that he was always busy, so that's why he never got to spend some time with you. Except, today he invited you on a date.

At the moment, you were tracing the lines that were on the wooden table, patiently waiting for Kaeya.
Sara walked up to you, greeting you,
"Hey, Y/N! How are ya'?"

You looked up at her with a small grin, replying with
" Ah, hello Sara. Thank you for asking, I'm doing quite well actually. How about you?"

"I'm doing well, thanks. Say, are you waiting for anyone?" She asked politely. She's probably waiting for you to order considering you're sitting at one of her tables.

You paused.
'have I been sitting here for too long? How long did I stay here waiting for Kaeya?' You thought in your head.

Your expression saddened. Kaeya was never late, what was taking him so long? He said it was his day off- Sudden change of plans??

A million thoughts flooded your mind. Why were you overthinking? Why did you have an uneasy feeling in you?..

"Y/N? Are you alright?"
You felt a hand on your shoulder, snapping you out of all those thoughts you were having. It was Sara, she had a look of concern plastered on her kind face.

You frowned. Obviously you weren't. What would be taking Kaeya so long? Why'd he be late to his own 'date' he planned? Was this just a set up?

You sighed sadly. It was getting late, and the sun was setting. It was best if you left now.

You stood up from the wooden chair, and walked off waving goodbye to Sara.
You walked around Monstadt, feeling the brisk air hit your face. You decided to go to Flora's flowers to get some lamp grass and maybe some other plants that caught your eye.

As you were handing Flora the payment, you decided to go over to Angel's Share.
Mondstadt seemed pretty lively tonight, many people were out and about. It was louder than usual.
Once you've finally reached your destination, lot's of people were walking in and out of the Tavern for some reason. The people walking out had a look of disgust and disappointment on them. Whispers were heard everywhere.

You were confused. What's going on? You looked amongst the crowd of people, once everyone saw you they looked guilty.
Everyone avoided your gaze, nobody wanted to explain.

You looked all around you, people whispering and looking at you sadly.
So many whispers and voices you couldn't understand anything they were saying- until you heard one that stuck out to you.
"What a pity for them, can't believe Kaeya's been kissing other women behind their back."

What?

You were in shock. Your eyes widened and started to brim with tears. Your heart panged and ached.
Is this all true?? You thought to yourself

As you walked forward, people moved out of the way of you, making a path that basically lead to Kaeya making out with some random woman.

Every step you made, emitted a clicking sound.
Kaeya heard something come closer as the sounds your shoes made became louder to him.

They started to become louder and louder, & once you reached him the sounds stopped which made him curious..

As he broke apart the kiss with the woman, (much to her dismay), he turned around.

He was greeted with your furious & hurt self. He looked at you, not making one word or move.
What else was he supposed to do? He got caught.

"Kaeya."  You spoke,
"Y/N." He replied, not sure what to expect.

You looked him dead in the eye, which honestly, made him nervous. He never saw you look like this.

SMACK!

A loud boom echoed across the tavern. Kaeya held his hand against his now turning red cheek. He looked up at you with straight shock.

You didn't hesitate. You gave him another hard slap across his face, on his other uncovered cheek.

"Y/N! What the actual hell?! That hurt like shit." He yelped

"Oh yeah? Guess you know how I feel now seeing you make out with someone else."
You said sarcastically.

He made a tsk sound.

"You were boring, Y/N. I only did what I had to." He shrugged

"Really, 2 years with the same person? I could never. This wasn't the first time I did this anyway." He continued, smirking.

"At least my secret is finally out, so I don't have to hide anything."
