Bottles of alcohol and wine were scattered across the living room floor of your shared apartment with Kaeya.
You sighed sadly, as you took off your shoes and made your way to the living room. Kaeya never cut off his alcohol addiction, even when he promised he'd do better.
You carefully grabbed each bottle one by one and put them all in a plastic bag. The smell of the alcohol stung your nose.
As you finished putting away the bottles, you put aside the bag beside a nearby counter. You walked your way to the couch and sat down.
You deeply inhaled while putting your face into your hands. Salty streams of tears rolled down your face. You ran your hand through your hair, while trying to stop the tears from flowing.
You brought your arm to your face to wipe the tears away. Your nose and eyes became slightly red.
Shuffling was then heard in the washroom across from you.
"Y/N..? Are you home?" A raspy voice called out, while opening the washroom door.
Kaeya stumbled out of the washroom, still holding onto the doorknob for support.
He then smiled, seeing you finally home. He couldn't see that you were crying considering his eyes were slightly blurred.
"Hello, Y/N." He sweetly said, "How was your day at work?"
"It was fine, thanks." You whispered looking out the window.
Kaeya carefully walked towards you, trying his best not to trip.
Once he reached you, he was met with your beautiful face. He couldn't help but fall in love with you again, just like the first time he saw you.
He engulfed you in a bear hug, putting his face into the crooks of your neck.
Though, you didn't hug back. You just couldn't. You just sat there with sad eyes.
"I missed you, Y/N." He admitted to you, while tightening his hold around you.
"Please let go Kaeya. We need to talk, I'm serious."
You replied to the male, trying to pry himself off you.
He slowly let go, looking at you questionably. He then sat beside you, holding his hands together.
"What is it, Honey?" .. "I don't want to be together anymore." You croaked out, looking down.
His heart dropped hearing that sentence. He was shocked, but he knew there reason.
"I'm sorry, Y/N. Please forgive me, I promise I'll stop drinking! Don't do this, please."
He pleaded, holding her hand. Right as he did, you pulled away. His hands were ice cold.
You shook your head, while standing up.
"That's what you said last time, and the time before that."
You pointed out, clearly upset and hurt.
"Please I'm sorry! Don't leave, please." He cried, trying to hold your hand.
"No, I won't fall for your lies and broken promises Kaeya. We're done."

Kaeya was on his knees, begging for you to stay.
"I'm sorry Kaeya, but I don't want to be with a broken man like you anymore." You stated sourly.
& with that, you left with your belongings.
