On the first day of our trip to London, I went on to a business trip to the Clock Tower, leaving behind Shirou in Zelretch's care.
The air is riped with Magical energy as I neared the ancient structure. Looking from this angle, no normal person would think the tower in front of them is built as one of the three major factions within the Magus Association that practice Magecraft outside the realm of imagination
Nor would they think the Clock Tower is build atop the corpse of a dragon, but at this point it's not like such information would help much in my endeavor, unless I want to wake the dragon up myself and ride it around England
I easily bypass their sorry excuse of a Bounded Field and entered into the mainhall where students and academicians are bustling arounf. Upon entry no one notices me. Or rather, they saw me, but chose not to comment on it
To them, I am just one of their kind. A blank specimen not worthy of observation. That's how I like it to remain.
It did not took me long to catch sight of a certain woman patiently waiting by the door. I silently approached and tapped her shoulder, catching her attention
"Barthomeloi Lorelei sent you, I presume"
"She did, sir" She bowed in courtesy "Greeting. My name is Hishiri Adashino, vice chief of the Clock Tower's Policy Department. It is a pleasure to meet you, sir Emiya"
The woman staighttened after finishing with ehr introduction. At first glance, what stood out the most is her long black hair and oriental features, likely originating from North Japan.
She is wearing square rimmed glasses that reflect back my face when I gazed at it, giving off a graceful vibe and undescribable charm to her figure, akin to a viper in waiting for their prey
She also looks like someone who suck dicks for money
"..." I nodded in return. Adashino already knew who I am and I now knew her name. Following that logic, there should be no need for further interactions between us
The woman twitched in response to my silence, but nonetheless maintain a professional smile on her face as she turned around and walked to the tower's reception
"The Wizard Marshal and the Queen has personally ordered me to escort you to your room and provide assistance to your integration of our ranks" She continued speaking as we walked through several winding hall way "By the way, here is your schedule, sir"
She handed me a folder. I opened it up to see a list of detailed activities attached in a timetable format
"The assembly will not began in another two hours. The Lord from the remaining houses have gathered to personally witness and testify your ascension to Lordship"
"Is it required of me to attend?"
"The meeting is strictly for formality's sake. However, absence will reduce your credibility as one of them. You may even lose some prestige among the Magus community. It is not recommended"
"Skip that, then"
Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw her brows silently twitched
"Next on the list, you have the arranged meeting with the El-Melloi heiress and patriarch for discussions regarding the transitions of their position"
"These things still need to be discussed?" I raised an eyebrow "The deal was simple. Either they hand over the El-Melloi lordship or there's no cooperation between us"
"There's still the negotiation of additional terms. Even if you become lord El-melloi the Second-"
"I want only the position. They can keep the rest"
