- This started with Luna being Luna.

- You and Luna had been friends and then dating for a while, introduced through Neville and Ginny. The two of you had been near the edge of the forbidden forest, her picking flowers while you sat nearby telling her about your day.

- After her flowers she sat across from you and began to make them into a crown.

- Draco, on his way back to his dorm and strangely without his friends was passing by when he saw you near the edge of the forest.

- Curious as ever, Draco proudly stomped up to the two of you and asked what you were doing.

- Luna didn't answer his question, much to his frustration, and instead started to tell him about this invisible creature that caused people to be prideful and have fits of irrational anger. As she told about these things, just as his patience began to wear out, she stood up and placed the finished flower crown on his head.

- Draco, stunned and unsure what to do with himself stormed away as a blush blossomed on his cheeks.

- Upon entering the Slytherin common room, his friend saw the flower crown still on his head and questioned him about it. Embarrassed, he ripped it from the top of his head and said, "It doesn't bloody matter, mind your business." And continued up to his room.

- As he was about to throw it away, the realization that this was possibly the nicest thing anyone outside of his parents had ever done for him hit him hard in the chest. So instead the slightly ruined flower crown found its way into his bedside table.

- Exactly three days later, Draco found you and Luna in the very back of library talking in hushed voices about the latest Quibbler.

- He marched right up to the table, set down the flower crown between the two of you and said, "Some of the flowers have been ripped. Fix it." He paused for a second, then added, "Please."

- Luna smiled at him and said, "Well I would, but I don't know any spells to heal the flowers. I can just make you a new one if you would like?"

- Draco frowned, upset that the flower crown couldn't be fixed and upset that he was upset by that. "Well there has to be a spell." He said pointedly.

- "You're more than welcome to help us search for it?" You had offered, and he was stunned to say the least. No one outside of his friends really invited to do anything, either hating him or fearing him.

- So he grumbled under his breath, in a very non-proper pureblooded way, about how it was probably best he did because he doubted you could do it without him and then walked off to find the best books on herbology and plant spells.

- Eventually you three did find a spell, and managed to not only fix the flower crown but also preserve the flowers so they could never wilt.

- Both you and Luna noticed that after finding the spell and fixing the crown, he lingered, hesitant to leave the two of you.

- You were about to offer to let him stay when he asked Luna about that creature she had mentioned.

- "You want to learn about them?" Luna has asked, surprised just like you.

- Draco had raised his chin and straightened his back and said in a proud voice, "Knowledge is power and one who never stops learning has unending power."

- It was obviously something he had learned from his parents, but it was good enough for you and Luna.

- After that, Luna, You and Draco all met up in the library, or the astronomy tower, or the edge of the forbidden forest for 'study sessions'.

- One of these study sessions, as you were talking passionately about something, Draco leaned in and kissed you out of the blue.

- Stunned, you said to him, "I'm dating Luna."

- Before you or Draco could continue, Luna who is far too observant and has absolutely no filter said, "Yes, but you do have feelings for him, as do I. And he has feelings for the both of us."

- "So what does this mean then?" You had asked nervously, not wanting to lose what you had with either of them.

- "Well, three wizards is more powerful than two wizards." Draco has murmured under his breath, and Luna had smiled so widely at the both of you.

- "Quite right. It is called a polyamorous relationship, where three, or more people are together."

- "I think I prefer just three." Draco had half joked and from then on it wasn't Luna and You, and also Draco. It was Luna, Draco and you.
