Alex POV:

The walk to the cafeteria wasn't that long, and I smiled as I saw Bella sitting at a table full of people.
As we get to her table a boy comes over and pecks Bella on the cheek, “My girl,” he says before running away with a blond boys chair.

Another dark-haired girl speaks up, “Wow, its like first grade all over again. You're the shiny new toy.”

I smile a little as I pull out a chair next to Bella, “Got the boys fighting over you already, Bells?”

My sister glared at me as I sat and pulled out my lunch, “Shut up, Alexander.”

I lean my arms against the table, “Why should I, Isabella?”

Before she can reply, the dark-haired girl introduces herself, “Hi, I'm Jessica. I'm the captain of the volleyball team.”

I raise an eyebrow at her, taking a drink from my water bottle, “Alex, Bella’s brother.”

“I didn't know Bella had a brother,” she put her chin on her hand and leaned a little closer to me, “You don't look that alike.”

I scooted my chair a little closer to Bella, making her snort. I turned and glared at her before turning back to Jessica, “We’re fraternal, so we don't look exactly alike.”

Before she can reply, Bella looks out the window, “Who are they?”

Jessica sat up a little straighter, but it was Angela who spoke, “The Cullens,”

“Doctor and Mrs. Cullens’ foster kids. They all moved down from Alaska like two years ago,” Jessica continues. Angela then looks at me, “THey kinda keep to themselves.”

Jessica was now in full gossip mode, and excitedly leaned in, “Because some of them are together. Like, together together.” she dropped her voice a little, “The blonde girl, Rosalie, and the big dark-haired guy, Emmett,” I looked over and saw a goddess-like girl with a big brawny dude next to her walk into the cafeteria, hand in hand, “they’re a thing. I’m not even sure that's legal.”

Angela rolled her eyes, “Jess, they're not actually related.”

Jessica turned her eyes to the girl with glasses, “But they live together, its weird!”

She then turned back and I smiled as I saw Alice dance into the cafeteria, “The little dark-haired girl, Alice, she’s really weird.” I turned and glared at Jessica, who was too engrossed in her gossip to care.

When I turned back, I saw Alice smile and wave at me, I gave her a small smile back, “Then there is Jasper, the one who looks like he’s in pain.” I then saw him walking in not far behind Alice, and sure enough, it looked like he was in pain. I tilted my head at him, “they're single, I’ve never seen them ever date anyone before.”

SHe took a moment to breath as I watched them all walk to a table in the back, “I mean, Dr. Cullen’s like this foster dad slash match maker,” she joked.

Angela leaned closer, taking a drink, “Maybe he’ll adopt me,” Bella laughed, but stopped once she saw the last Cullen enter, her expression turning a little sour, but still curious, “And him? Who’s he?”

Jess once again leaned closer, “That’s Edward Cullen,” And once again, as if hearing his name, I watch as Edward looks over at us, making Bella turn back to the table, “He’s totally gorgeous, obviously,” Jessica continued, “But apparently, no one here's good enough for him. Like I care.” she adds at the last minute.

I once again raise an eyebrow at her, ‘she obviously does’. I look back over to the Cullen’s’ table where I see Edward now smirking, before turning back as Jessica once again continues, “don't waste your time,” she says, looking at Bella, who was turned towards the Cullen’s’ table. I bumped her shoulder making her quickly turn around, “I wasn't planning on it.” I roll my eyes, ‘right, and I'm not your twin brother’
I hear a snort from the far table and turn to see them all looking at us amusedly.

I snort, looking back at our table and grabbing my stuff, “Well,” I start, “as informational as this has been, I'm gonna go. See you later, Belle.”
SHe nods as I stand and kiss her head before going to my next class.

When I get to my geometry classroom, it is completely empty, other than the teacher. Which was expected since there is still a few minutes until lunch is over.

I walk over to the teacher and once again repeat the routine; hand them the slip, they ask a question, sign it, give it back, and tell me to go sit down.

I pick a seat in the middle and pull out a book to wait for the class to start. A minute later, I hear the bell ring and the halls starting to fill. Not too long after, I see a person sitting down beside me and look up to see a smiling Alice, “Hello again, Alex! DId you enjoy lunch?”

I put down my book, “It was fine, my sister's friend is a huge gossip though, told me a lot about your family. How your father is a matchmaker, apparently.”

Alice smiles once again and playfully rolls her eyes before the bell rings yet again, marking the rest of the students who quickly hurry in, late.

I lean against the desk as I listen to the teacher drone on and on about whatever topic they have been discussing.

After what feels like an eternity, class finally ends and I say goodbye to Alice before making my way to the gym.

Said gym was more impressive than I pictured. It had two basketball courts, one separated by volleyball nets and the other clear. I quickly get my uniform from the coach and get dressed in the locker room before going back out and joining the rest of the boys in basketball.

I notice a certain bear-like Cullen standing off to the side with the coach, and when he sees me looking, he gives me a smile.

He looks like a big teddy bear’

I join the team with the blond boy from lunch, Mike Newton, I learned, and about halfway through the game, I see him get hit in the head with a volleyball.

I quickly run over as I see Bella go up to him, “I'M so sorry! I told them not to let me play,” I laugh as I throw my arm over my sisters shoulder, “Already hitting on the boys? I didn't think you had it in you Bella.” She slaps me in the arm.

Mike shakes his head, “No, its fine, i'm good.”

I then see Jessica run up, “She’s got a mean spike, yeah?”

We continue to talk until the coach blows his whistle, telling us to get back to the games. The rest of PE is uneventful, the only thing exciting that happened was my team winning the game.

“You should seriously consider joining the team,” Mike said from behind me in the locker room, “you are really good.”

I shrug, “I'm not really into sports, thanks though.”

He continued to bug me about it all the way outside, where it was now raining, until we had to separate for our next classes.
I sigh as I make my way to english class, ‘this is going to be a long year’

A/N

Here's a new chapter! Hope you liked it!

I realized as I finished this that I had mixed up the classes a bit, like biology comes after lunch and PE before, but idc,  I'm keeping it this way
