Alex POV:

When I woke up the next morning, it was much like the day before; the sky was gray and cloudy, there was rain against my window, and I was up way before Bella.

I stretched as I stood up and walked over to my dresser, picking out my clothes for the day.
Some light jeans, and black shirt with a big flannel shirt over it. I felt lazy today, besides, there's nobody I'm trying to impress.

I quickly ran down the stairs to the bathroom where I brushed my teeth and hair. I turned as I heard a knock on the door, opening it to find a sleepy Bella on the other side, “Morning,” I gave her a kiss on the head as I walked out of the bathroom and down to the kitchen.

I made myself a bowl of cereal and left the stuff down for Bella, and I sat down at the table.

I picked up the small piece of paper with messy handwriting off the table,

I had to go into the station early,

i'll be home late tonight. There's leftovers in the fridge,

love Dad’

I set it down and returned to my cereal, finishing right as she walked down the stairs, “Where’s Charlie?” She asked, “He had to go to the station early today, said he won't be home late.”

SHe merely nodded as she made her some food and got on the counter while I rinsed my bowl, “I'm gonna ask him.” I raise a brow at my sister, “Edward. I'm gonna ask him what his problem with me is.”

“Ah,” I nodded my head as I pulled a beanie on, “and what if you don't like the answer?”

“Then I just won't talk to him anymore,” She said in a ‘duh’ tone.

I snorted, “Right, you ignore your crush? Not gonna happen.”

She glared at me before putting her bowl in the sink and getting her shoes on, “Whatever.”

A few minutes later, we each found ourselves in our designated cars, driving down the road to school. We got there pretty early so we ended up standing outside of our cars, waiting for the bell to ring.

“Hey, Alex! Wanna play?” I turned to see Mike and a few other kids standing with a soccer ball. I looked back to Bella, who shrugged before taking my bag off and joining the game, “You're on Tyler’s team,” I looked over to where MIke was pointing before running over to his side.

“Hey, I'm Alex.”

He gave me a smirk, “Tyler. Are you any good?”

I shrugged, “I used to play, though it's been years, so I don't really know.”

“Well, let's hope you are, I just bet $50 dollars that my team wins, so don't let me down.”

I gave him a salute, “You can count on me, sir!”

He laughed, “I like you.”

The game was going well, our team was up by one point. Bella had now moved from watching the Cullens at her truck to Tyler’s van with Angela and Jessica. She was holding my hat and flannel shirt, leaving me in my white shirt and jeans.

The game was intense, and we had begun to attract a crowd, including the Cullen’s.

“Alex!” I looked back over to where Tyler was getting trapped by Mike and a few other guys, I quickly ran over as he kicked the ball before pivoting around a boy named Andy and running toward the goal.

I faked a kick to the left, making the goalie dive before kicking it to the right and scoring, “GOAAAAAAAAL!” I turned and laughed at Tyler who was literally running in circles around MIke, “You owe me $50, Newton, pay up!”

Mike grumbled before reaching into his back pocket for his wallet and giving Tyler the money before Tyler ran up to me and gave me a high five, “Now, thats what I'm talking about, dude. That was great, thanks.”

“Anytime,” I then turned to Mike, “See you around.”

He smiled as I jogged over to the girls.

Jessica immediately ran up to me, “Oh my god! That was amazing! The way you just kicked the ball, it was awesome!”

I nodded, “Yeah, well that's what soccer is, I guess.”

Angela then came over and saved me, “You did great!” I nodded in thanks and when Jessica turned to Bellan, I mouthed ‘thank you’ to Angela. She smiled and nodded her head.
I then turned to my sister, throwing my arm over her shoulder, “Ewww, you're all sweaty, get off!”

I scoffed, “I am not, it's just rain,” technically, it was half true as it was lightly raining.

He pushed my arm off and gave me back my stuff, “Here it's time for class, we gotta go.”
I nodded and followed her after putting my flannel shirt on and grabbing my bag. On our way to the doors, we passed a certain family of pale-skinned people holding umbrellas.

I turned to Bella, “Ill see you in biology,” I gave her a kiss on the head and then wiggled my eyebrows, “goodluck.”

She rolled her eyes, “Oh shut it, Ill see you later.”

I watched her walk down the hall before walking back to where I saw the Cullen’s, “Hey Alice,”

Said girl quickly turned towards me, her spiky hair flying, “Alex! Good morning, how are you?”

I laughed as she gave me a tight hug, “I’m good,”

I then turned to the other three, “Goodmorning Jasper, Rosalie. Nice to meet you Emmett.”

Rosalie gave me a small, polite smile while Jasper tilted his head towards me, Emmett on the other hand, gave me a big smile and patted me on the back, “Likewise, nice to see you can remember all of our names.”

I rolled my eyes and scoffed, “How could I not,”
I replied, “My sister's friends basically told me your whole life story.” This made them all laugh.

Alice then grabbed my arm, “Come on, Alex, its time to get to class,” I nodded and smiled at the Cullens, “I’ll talk to you guys later,” Alice and I then turned, walking into school.
