Alex POV

I roll my eyes and groan, “God, Edward, you are so bipolar.”

Bela glares at me, “Too bad you didn't figure that out earlier,” she walks past Edward to the bus, us following, “You could have let that van crush us and save yourself all this... regret.”

I went to stand by her as Edward snapped, “You think I regret saving you?”

I interrupt Bella, walking up to Edward, “Don't you dare snap at my sister, Cullen. Ever. Or I will make you regret it.”

Before we can continue, Alice comes up and places a hand on my arm, pulling me back, “The bus is leaving. Will you be riding with us?”

Edward and I are still glaring at each other and I clench my fist, grabbing Bella’s shoulder and moving towards another bus, “No, we’re good. Besides, the bus looks full enough. I’ll see you later, Jasper.”

Jasper POV

“Your boyfriend’s got some bite.” I hear Emmet laugh as he and Rosalie walk up to us beside the bus, “Oh, Eddy-boy, what's it feel like to be finally put in your place, huh?”

Edward just rolled his eyes and banged on the bus door before getting on. I turned to the other bus and looked through the windows, finding Alex and his sister sitting close to the back. He held eye contact for a few moments before looking away with a small smile and slight blush.

“Jas, are you coming?” I turned to see Alice looking at me with a tilted head and nodded, following behind her onto the bus.

When we returned to the school, my siblings and I quickly got in our cars and drove home.

When we got inside we found Esme and Carlise laughing in the kitchen, they turned when they heard us walk in. 

“Welcome home!” Esme smiled as she gave us each a hug, while Carlisle gave us a smile, “anything interesting happen?”

Emmet smirked, “Jas has a date with a certain Alex, tonight.”

I glared, causing him to laugh as he sped off to who knows where, I could feel the satisfaction coming off of him as I turned back to my family, seeing Esme smiling happily.

“Really? That's great, Jasper.” SHe turns to Carlisle, “we need to make him some food, in case he is hungry! What does he like?”

I shrug, “Anything.”

With that, she claps her hands and motions for everyone to come into the kitchen to help cook. As I walk over to the fridge, I see Alice freeze, almost dropping the bowl she was holding.

I ran over to her, “Alice, are you alright?”

Her eyes stay glazed over for a moment before she looks up and smiles at me, a feeling of excitement radiating from her, “I'm fine, everything is just fine.”

She shares a look with Edward who nods back at her with a small smirk before turning to the stove where Esme was explaining what to make.

About an hour or so later, the food was ready and I quickly went outside and got my bike, heading off to the Chiefs house. I pulled into the driveway a few minutes later.

Inside, I could hear someone hurrying ot the door and a small, “See you later, Bells. Bye, dad!” before the door opened to reveal Alex wearing a red sweater and some black jeans. I smiled as he walked out and saw my bike.
