Chapter 34 - Valentines Day

Author's note - Sorry the update has taken so long. I have been busy with school and things at home. Also sorry the chapter is six days late. I know Valentines Day was six days ago, 🤦🏾‍♀️😂 again sorry, hope you like this chapter.

"Bonnie called me and said you were in danger and they were trying to kill you" I said and cried

He hugged me tight.

"I am ok, I am ok" He said and rocked me back and forth.

"Why would you come here when you know my friends want you all dead" I said angrily

"I am sorry, I just wanted to make them pay for hurting you" He said

"I know, its just the thought that I could have lost you forever" I said holding him tight

"I thought I had lost you" I cried

"I thought I was never going to see you again and when I heard you screaming it broke me and I thought you were gone, I thought they had already staked you" I said

"Shhh you are too beautiful to cry darling. I am right here. I am ok" He said and wiped my tears

He held me tight until I calmed down.

"I am ok, see I promise" He said

"I love you" He said holding me close to him

"I love you too" I said holding him tighter

He kissed me sweetly assuring me he was ok. I kissed him back and hugged him tight. Once I was triple, double sure he was ok. I looked at the girls who were supposed to be my friends.

"How could you?" I said

"He is my mate, do you know how scared I was? Scared I was never gonna see him again" I said

"Me lying, okay I get you are mad and I am sorry. But you tried killing my mate and I cannot forgive you for that" I said teary eyed

"We were supposed to be friends and you almost killed one of the people I loved most. A second later and he would have been gone forever. How fucking selfish are you? I get my mates have done bad stuff in the past we all have. Yes some of them still feed from humans now but they don't kill them. Damon still feeds from human blood now and again. I just thought we were closer than that" I said

"Can we go go home please?" I said to my mates and stayed close to Kol

They nodded but glared at the girls on the way out.

"This is not over" Rebekah said to them.

They sped home and I was in Kol's arms. I wouldn't leave his side and he didn't mind. He stayed by me all night. I kissed all my other mates goodnight and hugged them for a long time before I settled in bed with Kol. I wrapped my arms around his neck and held him close and he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer.

"I love you" I whispered

"I love you so much too Darling" He said and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear

"Don't ever leave me" I whispered

"For as long as I live and forever beyond that Darling" He whispered

"Forever and Always" He whispered

I am so glad. I had the day off today. It was Valentines day, I am so excited to give my mates their presents. I rolled over to cuddle Kol and say Happy Valentines Day but he was not there. I panicked knowing what went on last night until I sat up and saw  five cards on my table. I picked one of them up. I sat and sighed relieved once I read it.
