Hoping that they'll see
The pain they put me through

After living another day

Dreaming of alternate universes
Dreaming of a future
Were everything goes wrong
Dreaming of the day
I can leave freely
Without looking back
Dreaming
Of how I would leave
Of everything aligning
Being able to smile full and happy
Crying myself to sleep
Hearing the disappointed voices
That circle the past
Hearing the real words they think
Echoing in my ears
Crying myself to sleep
As the world around me
Runs on in the midnight time
The train whistle
And the highway noise
Telling me so
Crying myself to sleep
