I do not see what you see

When you look at me
I see insecurities
You see the best of me
What I show you
In hope you'll be my friend

Maybe next time the mirror
Won't be so cruel
And I'll see what you see
Maybe I'll show you what I see

Because everything we see
In the mirror and in me
Are the good parts
So let us be all we are
