They do it without realizing they do
He shouts and fires up if even the smallest thing is not how he wants it
Beating our minds until I call him out on his bull
It only makes it worse
She plays peacekeeper
Calming him
Until he calms do and see scenes
Apologizing at this point
It makes no difference
My mind is already filled with pain
She is the one we favour
Going to her for help, questions and love
We avoid him most of the time
But every now and then she erupts
Yelling and shouting
Never letting us think
But always demanding answers
Answers that require thought
She walks away
Crying like we bring her more pain
Then she brings us
When really the pain I harbor
Is hidden
Deep within the lowest thoughts of me
Never for them to see
