Esmerelda- Antoinette's POV

"Who's f*cking child is this." He said loudly. I have to say his voice sounded abnormally cold.

"I'm not a child, umm kind gentlemen," I say in my cute voice, his head snaps to me and I just stare.

"What the f*ck you talk?" He asked me. I just looked bewildered. Of course, I talk darling... I am human unless you think I'm an alien. I don't mind being an alien. Wait, let me play a trick on him.

"Wait a minute... You can see me." I am astonished. I pulled my most shocked face. It was Grade-A acting if you ask me. The handsome young gentlemen just pulled me by my sleeve and dragged me to wherever he was taking me. Eyes were on me now. Many of the girls were staring at me in surprise. I don't want to be one of those basic girls but, I've always wanted a cliche moment like this to happen in my life. I giggle. I tried to escape the gentleman's grasp but he was truly strong. This man was quite tall. I think around 6 foot 2 at least. Based on his looks he probably passed puberty and he's probably a senior. His tie was loose and he had two of his buttons unbuttoned. He kind of looked laid-back and put together all at the same time. He would make a wonderful model. Perhaps for teen Vogue or Calvin Klein. Looking at his figure he seemed pretty well built, I would imagine him to have abs under the white shirt. We came to an abrupt stop and the boy pushed me in front of another lovely gentleman. This gentleman had grey eyes and blond hair. He was probably an inch shorter than the brown-eyed man. He had a cheeky grin that reminded me of a typical school heartthrob. By the way, he was looking at the brown-eyed man he hadn't noticed my tiny presence. The two charming men seemed to have a very strong friendship bond as they did their little handshake with the aggressive pat on the back. The brown-eyed boy spoke once again.

"Look what I found. A kid. She has the audacity to use that mouth of hers and speak to me. I think she's a new bird. She probably doesn't even know who I am. Also, she played that 'You can see me' trick on me. Amateur. You know us. Since we have found the new student I say we give them the perfect welcoming." The brown-eyed boy seemed quite annoyed by his presence. I hadn't said anything so far and I think now's a good time to speak. I was about to say something but the cheeky blond boy beat me to it.

"This tiny little baby bird tried playing a trick on you. Wow, that's a first, even for a new kid. We usually give the 'don't mess with us' vibe. Clearly, this one's a little slow. I didn't even see her. She is so tiny. You sure she hasn't come to the wrong school." The blond boy says, eyeing me peculiarly.

"Umm my apologies for disrupting your conversation about me that you're having in front of me. But there are 20 minutes till class starts and I need to get my schedule and locker number. Now if you guys could just tell me where the reception or main office is, I'll be on my merry way." I say politely. Looking at these people, it's like they own the school, so I wouldn't want to mess with them and make everybody hate me. That would be an amateur move for me.

"Oh my god, I think I changed my mind, Bishop. Let's keep her. She's sooo cute. Like a tiny little birdie trying to fly away from us but then we'll capture her, lock her up in a cage and raise her." The blond boy came near my face and pinched my cheeks. My eyes widened at his compliment. I guess he is one for dark humor.

"Hugo, look what you did now. Now she knows our names. You dumb*ss." Bishop says. I snicker at his sudden outburst.

"But look, Bishop. She's harmless. She has a broken leg and a broken arm. What is she going to do... kill us. I doubt that. It's about time we had an addition to this group. A younger addition who would continue our legacy in this school. Senior year's gonna start. Might as well use her." Hugo suggests. Is that some weird way of asking for my friendship? Are we going to become friends? Oh my gosh! I've always wanted some friends!
