^^^^ Ferrari car that Dante drove to the Romano's Airport^^^^

Francesco's POV:

It had been a whole 2 days since Esmerelda ran away. The whole family has gone into a state of depression. Emiliano keeps breaking all the walls around our house. It is annoying having to call the architect every single hour but what can I say. We are all suffering. My twin Giovanni and I spent the whole day sparring. Sweating without a break. I wonder if it's sweat or tears sometimes. My brother is breaking down as well as breaking down the punching bag. I keep lifting heavy weights on the bench press, tiring my muscles and body. Fighting and Working out is like a drug for my brother and me, it almost gives us a drunk and high feeling, in a good way. The Adrenaline rush is enlightening and helps us disconnect from the world when we need to the most. Lorenzo and our father on the other hand have become workaholics. They were already but at least we would see them throughout the day. Now we only see them during dinner. It is concerning. Valentino and Vincenzo have become sick. Not in a flu way but they are tired every minute. We told them to stay at home and take a break from doctor duties but they won't listen. They have gone on a surgery spree. I guess fixing people is their way of handling their problems. Dante. Dante is a little special. Ever since Esmerelda's disappearance he has been sleeping inside of his Audi. The same car Esme sat in last. He only comes out of there for dinner but other than that he either works out a little and stays in his car. Slightly concerning but each has its own way of coping. Out of all of us, I would say Matteo has gotten it worse. His cooking is tasteless, almost as bad as Emiliano's, and let me tell you if that happens that means something is definitely wrong. He keeps making Esmerelda's favorite pancakes and puts them on her spot at the dinner table. It's almost as if he is hallucinating. On top of that, he is always crying. Sergio is back with his excessive alcohol consumption. Ever since Esme left he has been consuming more alcohol than his father. That is a big red flag. I would say out of all of us Armani has handled it the best. He is continuously planning strategies to find Esme and where she might be. We are all helping but I would say Armani's is working the hardest. I can tell it has affected him because he is no longer funny. His comedic personality has disappeared in thin air. Shocking, I know. Mama acts like she isn't affected but I know she has a soft spot for Esme. Even if she doesn't show it. I can tell it has hurt her a little bit because she has been spending extra hours on the treadmill. Antonio keeps asking for Esmerelda to Victoria. Victoria doesn't really know Esme but it has affected Lorenzo which affects her liveliness as well. Victoria is being a good wife and mother trying to help Lorenzo and Antonio. I guess her way of coping is very similar to Mama. Mama and Victoria spend extra hours running together. I don't think Esmerelda, our sweet little Bambina, knows the effect she has on us. She may be new to the family. She may only be our half-sister but she is our little princess. She is our heart and soul. Whatever we feel, it's because of her. She is our light in the darkness. I take my hands and wipe the few tears that wet my cheek, unintentionally. I pray to god to help bring Esmerelda back in one piece.

Lorenzo's POV:

I was currently at the dinner table. Our cook had made us some spaghetti and beefsteak. Our family was depressed. Nobody wanted to eat, to be honest. Even if we don't know Esme for that long, she is still our little sister. Our youngest. The one we are meant to protect. We were all inwardly crying, silent and sad. Our family was breaking apart. Esmerelda, what have you done to us? I was about to get up but my phone rang. I look at the caller ID and see it is Ryder-Blake. What is he doing calling at late 9 pm? He is my best friend so I picked up even if it was disrupting my depressing dinner. My phone ring seems to have got my family's attention as they were no longer focused on their food but on the conversation and caller-ID. Mama signaled me to put the phone on speaker. I rolled my eyes and did what I was told because she was still my mother. I pick up the phone.

"Hello, Lorenzo speaking," I say in my bored mono-toned voice.

"Hey Lorenzo, It's Ryder-Blake." He replies.

"So what's up. Why did you call?" I ask him. Especially why he called at such a rare hour.

"Oh, I am here in Sicily. Thought I would visit you tomorrow or maybe this week..." He says.

"Yeah, it's been a while since we hung out. That would be great." I say. I was about to ask the next question to our conversation when I heard screaming in the back as well as people licking or eating ice cream. What the f*ck is Ryder doing...

"What is all that background noise," I ask suspiciously.

"Oh I am in Sicily with one of my friends named Sylvester, Alexander, you know the Dons and another friend- actually no that's it. Just enjoying Gelato with my buddies Sylvester. and Alexander" He says. He suddenly interrupted his own sentence. He must be hiding something. Not that I care but that is a little suspicious.

"Oh well that's-" I was about to complete my sentence when I heard a loud splash and Ryder screaming something.

"Noo-No Esme don't jump in the beach water. You will catch a cold and you haven't finished your Gelato yet!" I assume Sylvester and Ryder were screaming. The whole family was just listening, then suddenly we all looked up as if the puzzle clicked perfectly. Sylvester and Ryder yelled the word, Esme. Ryder is with Esme. I get up and immediately ask Matteo to start hacking and tracking Ryder's location. Matteo is a pro-hacker of our family. You can't get better than him.

"Ryder, where are you right now? Are you with a little girl? Black hair, blue eyes. Looks like my father. Super tiny in size?" I ask in a rush.

"Oh no, what are you talking about." He says in his perfectly normal tone. He almost makes me believe him but then I remember in the Mafia lying and hiding emotions is a skill. Ryder-Blake you are my best friend, I know you too well... I shake my head. I hear on the other side of my phone a girl screaming.

"Mr. Ashford, why are you always on the phone! Come on, let's have some fuuuuuuuuuun!" The girl screams. That's when I know. That voice is my little Bambina's voice. She is currently at a beach in Sicily enjoying her life and leaving us depressed.

"I have tracked their location. It was difficult but I did it." Matteo says, with his laptop and typing quickly.

"Ok, I want Dante, Sergio, and Armani with me. We are taking a flight to Sicily right now and getting Esmerelda back. Capire?" I say in my Mafia boss tone.

"I am coming with you. I am still partially the don. You haven't gotten full hold of the position soon. She is my daughter as well." My father says. I nod.

"The rest of the family, stay home, guard the place and make sure everything is okay. If there is a problem. You guys know what to do." I say before I take my 3 brothers and father with me. Sergio and I load up each of our cars with guns, grenades, knives, and other weapons just in case of violent situations. Dante sits in the Ferrari that he will drive and I sit in the Audi with my father and Armani in the back seat. We drove to Romano's airport. Yes, we have our own airport where we have our own personal jets and aircraft. It is only used during urgent times such as now. Once we arrived at the airport we took all of our supplies with us and sat in the jet, buckled up and ready to go for Sicily. I was wearing a Bluetooth earpiece where Matteo was connected on the other side.

"Matteo has their location changed," I ask.

"No, they are still at the San Vito Lo Capo beach. I will inform you if any displacement is detected. Over." He says and silence rings through my headpiece as the flight takes off for Sicily.
