Chapter 2

"Ouch!" Hyun Bin pulled a towel off of his face. Gong Yoo, who has just purposedfully aimed his face stared at him nonchalantly.

"What? Wanna fight?" Gong Yoo raised his fists.

Hyun Bin who was not in the mood to play around with his cousin just huffed and put the towel on the table next to his bed.

"So this is what you do all day and night?" Gong Yoo slammed his ass on Hyun Bin's chair. His both feet were raised on the table soon after.

"I don't want to talk about your dinner last night." Answered Hyun Bin short.

Gong Yoo just shrugged off, giving up on trying to talk his cousin into sense. "At least I've told you that your dad was expecting you last night."

Hyun Bin smiled sceptically, "He doesn't need me. That brat has already replaced my position in my dad's life."

Gong Yoo rolled his eyes, "Here we go again..." he then looked at his cousins straight in the eyes, "You don't actually believe that bullshit, right? Dong Seok Samchon is always expecting you to come around! You're his only son, for God's sake!"

"Well he clearly showed that I am not that important by chosing his new family over our family." answered Hyun Bin stubbornly.

Gong Yoo ruffled his hair feeling frustrated, "Do we really need to circle around this topic over and over again? Its been ten long years, man! I can understand if it is too hard for you to accept, but I've seen it with my own eyes, your dad has never been happier before marrying Ye Jin's mom!"

"Don't you dare mentioning that brat's name here!" Hyun Bin stood up, ready to fight.

"Hey, take it easy. And don't call her that... She didn't do anything wrong!" Gong Yoo tried to calm his cousin down.

"She took my dad, so I have all rights to call her anything!" Hyun Bin breathed unevenly, trying to hold his anger.

"I've told you this and I will tell you again, Ye Jin is one of the reasons your dad is finally sober now after years of alcohol abuse. She is a good kid, and your hatred cannot be justified." Gong Yoo stood up too now.

Hyun Bin rubbed his face hard before sitting back to the bed and reaching his pillow to muffle his frustrated scream, "Aaaaaaarghh....!!!"

Gong Yoo stared at him sympathetically. He the put his hand on his cousin's shoulder gently while sitting by his side, "Hey, I'm sorry... I feel you."

Hyun Bin raised his face, his bloodshot eyes looked at his cousin miserably, "If only you really knew..."

"Look, I don't want to force you. I just don't want you to regret this later. Our parents are getting older day by day, maybe its time to think from a different perspective for the sake of everyone." Gong Yoo patted on his cousin's thigh, hoping that his words could loosen of the tension between them.

Hyun Bin just stared blankly at the aquarium by his bed, trying to digest his cousin's words.

"Anywaaay... It's time for you to get ready. Our swimming competition will be started an hour from now, I don't want to be late so you better pack your towel and trunks now!" Gong Yoo took his towel on the table and shoved it up into his sport bag.
