The Hunter of Light Elves

Chapter 12:~Bad dream~

Elora struggled in her sleep from a nightmare of the 'man in cloak'. Screaming and crying.

"Elora?," Thranduil whispered as he tried to wake his daughter by giving her a gentle shake. But Elora kicked him away in her sleep,
"NO! STAY AWAY FROM ME!,"Elora screamed in her sleep as tears streamed down her cheeks.

"What's going on?,"Elrond interrupted as he, Galadriel, Emersion, Legolas and Elladan entered the room. "My own daughter kicked me!,"Thranduil exclaimed. And Elrond grinned a little, "Really. I can see that," And he helped Thranduil up.

Elora continued screaming and crying in her sleep and Emersion went over to her and Elladan tried to hold his wife down so she wouldn't hurt herself.
"Elora, it's okay. It's just a nightmare," Elladan whispered. And Elora woke up and quickly sat up in the bed.

"Elora,"Elladan said gently and put his hand on her arm. "NO! Don't touch me!,"Elora cried. And Galadriel swallowed, "Ithildin, what pains you so?," And Emersion put his hand gently on Elora's shoulder, "Elora, look at me," But Elora shook her head and buried her face in her knees, "Just go away," She muttered. And Emersion shook his head, "I'm not going until you tell me what hunts you so,"

And Elladan stroked his wife's back with his hand in circles. Talindra had been taken care of by Elora's ladies but he knew their daughter would soon need her naneth.

"Ithildin, please tell us what's wrong,"Galadriel said. "Penneth, we want to help you,"Elrond said. "Elora, you have to tell us what's wrong,"Elladan said. And Elora shook her head, "I cannot," "Oh, come on, Elora, what's wrong?,"Thranduil sighed. 'Why did his daughter have to be so stubborn?' And Elora glanced aside a little bit and noticed Arnel's spirit staring at her but she ignored them just like she did with her family.

"Elora, I know something is wrong. You know you can tell me anything,"Emersion explained, "We want to help you," And Elora swallowed, "It's better for me to suffer the you all," She mumbled but enough for everyone to hear. And Elrond shook his head, "We won't suffer of what pains you. We suffer by seeing you in pain. Let us help you,"

And Elora swallowed, "I can't close my eyes without seeing him," She mumbled. And Galadriel sighed, "Oh, Ithildin. What happened in your dream?," And Elora swallowed, "He's hunting me through the woods. I have nowhere to run. Then he grabs me and... press me against a stone wall before he... before he stabs me again," "Is it the same place as he stabbed you before?,"Emersion asked gently and placed his hand on the side of her stomach where the wound had been. And Elora nodded weakly.

And Emersion sighed, "Elora, he can't hurt you anymore. We have the book and we'll defeat him together," And Elora swallowed, "What if we can't defeat him? What if it is my fate to die like the other 'Light elves' before me," And Emersion sighed, "They didn't have the protection like you do. That's why they didn't live so long. But you have something they did not have. You have dragon blood that runs through your veins," And Elora smiled, "And I have all the powers from every 'Light elf' that's ever existed," And suddenly, North run into the room, "Elora, a man in cloak has invaded the castle. He has already managed to kill three guards," And Elora looked at Emersion, "He's coming for me!," And Emersion put his hand on her shoulder, "Elora, I won't let anything happen to you," And Eldridge entered the hall, "Elora, we have to leave the castle and get to safety now!," And Emersion looked at Elora, "Hurry. I'll wait for you," And Elora looked up at North, "North, take Elladan and Talindra with you. They need to be brought to safety as well," And Elladan shook her head, "I'm not leaving your side. You're coming with us," And Elora shook her head, "If I don't make it out, our daughter will at least have her father to raise her to be Queen of The Light Kingdom," And Elladan shook his head, "But, you can't," And Elora kissed him a last time, "I can't let the ones I love suffer because of what I am," And she looked up at North, "There's no more time. GO!," And North led Elladan out of the room and Legolas looked at his sister,
"GO! You have to leave now!,"Elora yelled at her family.
