The Hunter of Light Elves

Chapter 7:~The man in cloak~

Elora, Legolas, Aragorn, Gimli and Emersion went up the hills. And the higher they came, the more Elora could feel the evil presence grow. No one notice the man in cloak who was hiding behind some high stones, watching Elora.

Legolas, Aragorn, Gimli and Emersion sat down to rest while Elora continued the last way up the hills and suddenly, she could feel the evil presence just behind her. Something was moving around her like a shadow.
"Hello? Someone there?,"She asked in fear, "Legolas? Emersion?," And suddenly the man in cloak grabbed her from behind her and pressed her against the cold stone wall and Elora screamed.

Emersion quickly stood up as he heard Elora's scream. And Legolas stood up and made an arrow ready with his bow, "She's in danger. He has found her,"Legolas said worriedly and they run after the scream.

Elora stared at the man in cloak in fear. His green eyes staring into hers and Elora tried to look away and do as The Leclitra Queen had told her to. "Look at me, Dragon!,"The man commanded. And Elora swallowed as he forced her to look into his eyes.

The man smiled wickedly, "Now you shall feel it, 'Light elf'! Now you shall feel pain," And he took out a knife and smiled wickedly at her. Elora couldn't move. She was frozen with fear.

Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain as the man stuck the knife into her stomach and she felt the pain grow and she screamed and whimpered. "Do you feel that, 'Light elf'!?,"The man asked wickedly, "Do you feel the poison?," And Elora felt tears running down her cheeks as the man pressed the knife deeper into her and she could feel her elven blood coming out of the wound.

In her mind, Elora screamed her dragons names, praying they would hear her cry for help. And suddenly, Nagendra landed on the ground a bit from his Queen and the man and Nagendra screamed at the man in cloak.

Legolas, Aragorn, Gimli and Emersion heard the dragons painful cry for help.
"It's her Nagendra!," Legolas said in panic.

The man in cloak looked up at the dragon angrily and yelled something like a command and suddenly, Nagendra was hit by a spear in the side and other men showed up and surrounded the dragon.

"NAGENDRA!,"Elora screamed, crying, "FLY AWAY! GO!," And The dragon looked at his Queen in worry. "GO! SAVE YOURSELF!,"Elora screamed. And The dragon flew away.

The man smiled wickedly, "Now 'Light elf!' Shall you feel more pain! Now you shall die!," And he pulled out the knife out of her stomach and Elora moved by the pain and The man raised the knife, ready to stuck it into Elora's heart when one of his men was hit by an arrow in the heart and fell to the ground dead.

"GET AWAY FROM HER!," Legolas exclaimed angrily as he aimed an arrow at the man.
And the man smiled wickedly, "I don't think so," And he raised the knife again when Emersion shot him to the ground with his magic.

Elora felt the poison starting to take over her and the man turned to Elora, "This isn't over, 'Light elf!' I'll come back to finish what my family started!," And he and his men fled.

Elora couldn't hear what they were saying anymore and she felt herself growing weaker and weaker until she feel backwards, only to be caught by Emersion's arms,
"Elora, you're safe now," And he noticed the blood and the poisoned wound in Elora's stomach. And Legolas hurried over to his sister, Aragorn right behind beside.

Emersion stretched out his hand and tried to remove Elora's hand that was covering the wound, but Elora's other hand stopped him,
"No!,"She said weakly, "You have to let me go! Please, let him take me," And Emersion shook his head, "No! I'm not letting you die, Elora! I won't!," And Elora nodded weakly, "I'm sorry...,"She whispered weakly. And Legolas stroked his sister's long golden blonde hair, "You're not dying, Elora. I won't let you," And he noticed the bracelet The Leclitra's had given Elora was glowing, "Why is it glowing?," And Emersion sighed, "I think the bracelet is reacting to the poison in Elora's body. Elora, I need you to let me look at the wound," And Elora turned away from him as Emersion gently removed her bloody hand that was trying to cover the wound in her stomach.

Emersion swallowed as he saw the back poison in the wound and sighed, "Blackshade. If we do not hurry, this poison will claim her life soon," "Can you cure it?,"Legolas asked in panic, knowing his sister didn't have so much time left. And Emersion sighed, "Yes, but I need a few ingredients to make the antidote potion to cure her and a heal her with my magic. We need to take her up to the cave there," And he nodded at the cave that was on the stone hill not so far but not so close to them.

And Legolas nodded, "Then we need to hurry," And Emersion nodded, "Can you carry her?," And Legolas nodded.

Legolas was about to lift Elora into his arms when she protested, "Legolas, leave me, please," And Legolas shook his head, "I'm not leaving you to die, Elora, never!," And he lifted his sister into his arms.

Legolas noticed the silver dragon who fallowed them and flew as close to Elora as possible, letting out some cries to try to support his Queen and mother.

They reached the cave.

Aragorn laid out a bedroll on the cave's stone floor and a pillow to Elora. And Legolas gently placed his sister on the bedroll.

Legolas noticed that Elora was in the way of slipping away and he put his hand on her shoulder, "Elora, don't give in just yet. Emersion is here soon," And he grabbed his sister's cold hand.

And Gimli went over to Legolas and held a waterskin at Legolas head, "Make her drink, laddie," And Legolas took the water skin and brought it to Elora's lips, "Please Elora, drink. It will save your strength," And he managed to get Elora to drink a few sips of water but not so much as he had wanted her too.

"The wizard is here soon, lassie,"Gimli told Elora and gently put one of her golden locks behind her ear. And suddenly, Emersion entered the cave with a few ingredients.

"Emersion, hurry! She's slipping!," Legolas said in panic. And Emersion went over to Elora with the cure potion in a bowl and knelt down at her, "Elora, you have to drink this," And he brought the bowl to Elora's lips and managed to get her to drink the potion despite her protests of letting her die and then healed the wound with his magic.

Elora looked up weakly at Emersion who looked at her and smiled, tears forming in his eyes, "You're going to be alright," And he put his hand on her cheek and Elora put her hand on his arm and nodded weakly.

And Emersion smiled in relief, "Rest now. Tomorrow you will be restored to your full strength and ready to continue the journey," And Elora nodded weakly at him before she slipped into a deep dreamless sleep.

Legolas put his hand on his sister's shoulder and looked up at Emersion, "She would have died if it wasn't for you. Thank you for saving my sister," And Emersion smiled, "You don't have to thank me. I love Elora as my own daughter. Without her, I would eventually have turned out like my brother and father. She was the light that made me choose to be good,"

And Legolas smiled and nodded and Emersion put a protection spell over the cave.
And they went to sleep.

Elora sleeping peacefully in a deep sleep while the potion Emersion had given her was working to cure the poison in her body.
