Jays p.o.v
Around 6 A.M. Will comes back out and tells us that Erin is awake and wanting to see us. "Halstead go ahead and go see her first she'll be wanting to see you." Hank says while putting a hand on my shoulder . "Thanks Hank." I say. He nods and Will shows me where Erin's room is. When I see her my heart instinty breaks. "How could I let this happen?" I ask myself but Will hears me. "It's not your fault." Will says and leads me inside. I go and sit by her bedside holding her hand. "I'll leave you two alone." Will says and leaves the room. "I'm sorry this happened but I will always love you." I tell her while crying and holding her hand.
Erins p.o.v
I look over and see Jay crying. "I love you too," I say, squeezing his hand reassuringly. He looks up at me and wipes his eyes. "I'm never leaving you." I tell him and lean over to hug him. He stands up and hugs me gently. "Careful," he says. I smile at him and look into his ocean blue eyes. Finally after 10 minutes of us looking into each other's eyes and making promises to each other Will walks in and says that I can go home in a few days. After Will leaves Hank walks in "Hey kiddo how are you doing?" He asks worried.'' "I'm fine, I just want to go home." I tell him. "Well you seem ok. I have to get back to the district but Halstead will be here." Hank says. "Of course I'll be here." Jay says.
Hanks p.o.v
When I get back to the district Adam is in the irrigation room with one of the guys, Antonio is in with the other one, and Kevin is in the room with Hailey. I walk into my office and look over a case file from last week. A few minutes later Kevin walks in. "What's up Kevin?" I ask him concerned. "Hailey keeps saying that it's not her fault and that she also wants to talk to Jay." Kevin says. "Well the only people she is talking to are Me, You and her lawyer." I tell him then walk to the irrigation room. "Hi Sarge." Hailey says innocently. "Don't play innocent with me. We know you are the one who set this all up." "I have no clue what you are talking about." She says and smiles innocently. I look over at Kevin and tell him to go see how Erin is.
Kevin's P.O.V
I walk into Erin's hospital room and see her asleep in Jay's arms. "How is she?" I ask him knowing Hank will want to know too. "She's doing good. I think she just wants to get home though." "Yeah probably but who wouldn't." He laughs. "Being in hospitals suck, but I'm not going to leave her side." "You two belong together you always have." "I don't want to be that type of person who instantly jumps into things after dating but I'm thinking about marrying her. We've been through so much." "Go for it, you know she will say yes." I tell him knowing not to tell Voight that part of the conversation.
