Jays p.o.v.
I ran to Erin and held pressure on her wound. "I need help." I yelled hoping someone would come running in. A minute later Hank comes running in and the rest of the team are behind him. "50-21 we have an officer down" Hank says into his radio then comes over and helps put pressure on one of her wounds. Antonio, Kevin, and Alvin take both the guys and Hailey out to the cars. While Kim stands over in the corner sobbing and Adam trying to comfort her. It feels like forever but the ambulance finally came. As she was getting loaded into the ambulance I thought about all we've been through, good,bad,and ugly. I look over at Hank who is talking to another officer, he nods and tells me it's ok to go with her. I climb into the ambulance and grab on to her hand and tell her everything is going to be fine.
Hanks p.o.v
I couldn't believe what I saw when I walked into that building. All I know is the people who did this to Erin will suffer. I walked over to another officer and told them that I want patrol cars in front and behind the ambulance. After that I went to Med. They were unloading Erin when I got there. I walked over to Jay and hugged him. "She will be ok." I reassured him. "Ya she is one of the bravest and strongest cops I know." He said while tearing up. As we walk inside the rest of the team and Platt are there. Everyone just sits in the waiting room in silence for hours.
Jays p.o.v
After hours Will walks out. "How is she?" I ask with my voice breaking. "Not looking good, she's lost a lot of blood." He says with sorrow in his voice. After Will says that he hugs me then goes to check on patients. All we do is stand there. The only noise you could hear was quite sobs. Kim was the only one sobbing loud. But we all understood because her and Erin are really close friends. An hour later Antonio brought us food. "Anything since I've been gone?" He asks. "Nothing." Kevin says while picking at his food. "Guys I know Erin is like a sister to a lot of you, like a daughter to Hank, and like a niece to me and Platt, but she would want you guys to eat." Alvin said. "He's right guys." Kevin says. It was about 8 p.m. when Will came back out, half of the team was asleep. "How is she." I asked hoping she was ok. "Not good she lost a ton of blood during surgery, we lost her 3 times but were able to bring her back. Right now she is in the ICU. Go home get some rest and come back in the morning." Will says. "Or I can wait here until morning." I say not anting to be away from her. All we had to do now was wait until morning.
