What lies in the truth (Naruto Various x reader)

New Hokage is here

Not long after grandpas funeral Naruto left with Pervy Sage to go find the fifth Hokage, I know they said her name but I wasn't listening.

No matter how many times I tell my friends that I'm fine they don't believe me, probably because they think I'm lying but I'm really not. Despite it only being about three weeks since grandpa was killed, I really was fine. Probably because I've been through this before but that hit harder because I lost my whole clan and family. To be fair I still don't really like talking about it.

I was sitting in a tree outside of the gates waiting for Naruto to come back. I was also trying to think of a way to tell my friends who I really am. I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard the knucklehead himself.

I jump off the tree and land infront of him, I think I may of scared him because he fell on his butt, and also screamed.

"Oh it just you Y/n" He said

"You.......should.........see.........your........face.......right........now........Naruto" I said in between laughs

"Hey it not funny" Naruto pouted

"Yes it was Naruto" I said after I caught my breath

"What were you even doing in a tree?" he asked

"Oh I was just waiting for you" I told him

His cheeks were tinted with a light pink, I didn't think much of it.

"Who she" A blond women asked

"Oh I'm Y/n Sarutobi and who might you be" I asked

"I'm Tsunade on of the legendary sannins I'm also the fifth Hokage" she told me

"Okay" I said

"Y/n was the third Hokages granddaughter" Pervy Sage said

"Sorry about what happened to him" she said

After a few minutes Naruto left so now it was just me Tsunade and pervy sage.

"Umm I need to tell you something" I told them

"What is it" Pervy Sage asked

"My last name is not Sarutobi the thrid let me change my last name and took me in as his granddaughter" I told them

"Then what is your last name?" Tsunade asked

"My last name is l/n I am the daughter of the head of the clan but no one else knows besides lord thrid and one of my close friends" I told them

"Wait so your the last Survivor of the l/n clans massacre" Tsunade asked

"Yes but lord thrid let me change my name because since I am the heiress of my clan, if people found out who I was then it would be a disaster" I told them

"I see what you mean if people found out who you really are then people who want your clans power will come after you" Pervy Sage said

I nodded

Time skip

It's been a few weeks since lady Tsunade became the Hokage and during those few weeks the reconstruction on the village took place. During that time people from other villages came to help us rebuild. I didn't realize how many people we lost during the attack on the village until we needed help from other villages. But anyway the village was about half way or so done.

I still couldn't think of a good way to tell my friends about who I really was, I think I may wait a little longer because right now the times just not right but then again the right time may never come. I just hope I am the one to tell them and they don't find out from someone else.
