He heard shouts from inside and he grabbed his yoyos, then turned his glare to a white demon, who kind of looked like a spider? Didn't matter, they were going to die and he was going to do it with his own hands. As he reached forward, snapping the bamboo between his teeth with a snarl he was grabbed, and restrained. Why the hell is it so strong? He struggled and then realized that he was being encased in some sort of thread. "KILLUA!" he grinned, "you fucked up" before the spider demon had time to react, he had already dislocated his bones and bit down hard into its neck. The primal demon part of him sank it's fangs in deeper, wrapping his yoyos around it's legs. "WHAT THE HELL! MY STRINGS!" he ripped an arm clean off while he was tearing into the bone, causing the demon to scream in agony.

The spider demon clawed at his face, his body, his arms, but he barely felt a thing. He couldn't hear anything either, except for the blood pumping in his veins and the agonized screaming of the demon which he enjoyed. He sank his claws deeper and aimed for the more painful spots, as he was trained to do. It eventually stopped trying to stab at him and writhed violently, when it almost got away he clenched hard onto its leg and bit down, cracking the bone. There was another scream as it ripped its own leg off to retreat. He sat upright and snarled for a few seconds before Killua's blood rage cleared and he spat out the leg, feeling disgusted. Gross- "K-Killua?"

He turned his head and met the eyes of two absolutely terrified people, Zenitsu and Tanjiro. He looked down and his heart started to thump as he realized that Gon was lying on the floor and bleeding badly. He bolted over, tears forming at the corners of his eyes. "Gon!" his mouth started to drool from all the blood and he grabbed a branch that was nearby, shoving it into his mouth because his bamboo was broken. He didn't hear the footsteps or words of the other two, his ears were ringing and he felt tears stream down his face at the sight. Gon had a deep wound in his leg, to the point where it was almost severed in half, plus one of his arms was cut down to the bone too. Gon had a deep gash that bit into his side. He bit down harder, then squeezed his eyes shut and placed his hands down. Please work please work please work- suddenly he saw a light from behind his eyelids.

When he opened them he saw that his own blood was glowing. he instinctively stabbed a claw into his arm and smeared it over the line of Gon's wound. The wound itself started to glow faintly and he repeated the action on his arm and leg. Wait, what did I just do? That wasn't Nen. Most of his other blood stopped glowing, and he let he branch fall from his mouth as he sobbed. "Killua?" his eyes snapped up and he saw Gon looking up at him. "I-" his breath caught in his throat and he brought his hands to his face, breath hitching slightly at the amount of blood that was coating them. I'm even more of a monster than I already was. He was about to get up when Gon grabbed his hand. "look at me" he uncovered his face, trying to wipe his eyes as he met Gon's forgiving ones. "it's not your fault" he brought his hand up to ruffle his hair a little. "b-but-" Gon suddenly yanked him closer and pulled him in for a hug, and Killua cried into his shoulder.

Gon opened his eyes and saw that Killua was on the ground next to him, hands on his chest and his blood was- wait it was glowing? It's not Nen... suddenly he felt the pain lessen in his body and Killua had his head to the ground, sobbing. It broke his heart to see Killua like that, bloodstained and vulnerable. Gon hadn't seen it happen, but he had heard the agonized screaming from the tree line and knew. "Killua?" when Killua looked up he saw the raw emotion in his eyes and he felt his heart clench. "I-" he brought his blood slicked hands to his face and Gon saw that he was about to get up. No. I won't let you suffer alone. He reached a hand out to wrap gently around Killua's, "look at me" Killua removed his hands and tried to wipe his eyes to no avail.

You saw me hurt and you snapped, I forgive you Killua. He smiled softly, "it's not your fault" he slid a hand up to ruffle his hair. "b-but" he saw the look on Killua's face, it was one he had only seen once before. He thinks he's too much of a monster to be friends with me. He yanked Killua closer and he collapsed into his shoulder, crying into him. He hugged Killua's back softly and he sighed, "you did nothing wrong, I will never hate you" Killua's tears started to subside a bit and he mumbled something into his shoulder. "why would you ever like a monster like me?" he clutched Killua tighter, he thought Killua was over with this bullshit already! "listen to me, you are not a monster. And I'll stab anyone who tells you otherwise" he heard Killua chuckle a bit, "I thought I was the one who did the stabbing" he laughed. "well I have sword now and I'm not afraid to use it" Killua moved his head from his shoulder to his chest, "so tired..."

When he looked back down, Killua's eyes were closed and he lay there unmoving. "sleep well" he whispered, then he felt his own eyes start to droop. Whatever had happened with the glowey blood had taken a lot out of him. He leaned his back against the wall and sighed, "maybe I'll sleep too..." then he closed his eyes, falling into a deep peaceful sleep.

"Killua!" his eyes snapped open and he felt a finger poking him in the face. He shot Gon a glare and he giggled, helping him sit up. "you fell asleep for two days!" he blinked. "I did?" he didn't feel like he slept for two days, he felt normal. How does normal feel anymore? "yeah, also uhhh" he glanced up at Tanjiro. "are you ok?" he shrugged Gon's arm off him and blinked a few more times. "why wouldn't I be?" Gon snorted, "I think he means you mentally recovering from violently mutilating that spider demon" he chuckled, "I don't regret how much pain I inflicted but..." he put a hand to his fangs. "I'm still getting used to being a demon, I lost complete control when I got mad" Gon ruffled his hair, "honestly I expected you to torture the thing, the only thing that was weird was that you bit it" he frowned slightly. "it just felt... right? I don't know how to explain it" he slid off the bed and stretched, "anyways" he looked over at Gon. "I got you a present~"

He looked over with an interested expression. "really?" Gon grinned and grabbed what looked like two steel disk things? But they were connected really weird. "so, you might have noticed how I took one of your yoyos with me" he sighed, "honestly I didn't. I was exploring and forgot them" Gon shrugged, "anyways, watch this" he slid the metal onto the yoyo and it settled in place with a click. Wait, those are the material of Gon's sword! "no way, how did you pull this off?" he beamed, "we got to choose our own weapons, I asked for a fishing rod like structure and the yoyo sheathes" Killua paused. "really?" he nodded, then took out what looked like a metal fishing rod with a ball on it, which was also metal. There were small blades on the ball though, and the hilt was wood like a normal fishing rod. It was dark green with orange streaks through it "I can't wait to test this out" he grinned, then started to swing his yoyo around. "so, why do you use yoyos to fight?"

Killua smirked, "why don't you find out" he held one of the yoyos out and Tanjiro reached a hand out. "wait!" Gon snatched the yoyo from him and held up the hole for the finger. "do it this way, just trust me" he stuck the finger in and lifted, before pausing and squinting a little at it. "what's it made of?" he smirked, "superalloy metal, they weigh 40 KG but their material make it pack twice the punch" he did a cat face and Gon giggled hysterically, nearly dropping it. "wait, you guys can carry 40 KG?" he and Gon both nodded. "I could do it before I became a demon, me and Gon trained together" Gon beamed at him and he turned away to hide his blush, biting his lip. Would Gon even love someone like me?
