Her smile suddenly drops. "What is it?" She's lost in thought for a moment before giving a self-deprecating chuckle: "I just realized that I never told you my name!" She offers her hand. "My name's Gura, pleased to meet you!" I return the shake happily "I'm Wilson."
As we break the shake, she asks: "Like the volleyball?" I'm confused for a moment before it clicks, and I give a hearty laugh. "Yeah, like the volleyball! Can't say I've ever heard anyone make that connection, though. How do you know that reference anyways, do you watch movies?" She nods. "When I'm not doing livestreams or swimming, I make time for a good film. Cast Away was an interesting watch for me seeing as I've been to that island a few times myself! I actually had to stop visiting because I nearly got caught by one of the location scouts." My mind reeled wondering, if I went frame by frame through one of the featurettes, would I see Gura in the background of a shot?
"But enough about me, what brought you here?" I looked on bemused. "Well... you?" She playfully shoved me. "Not here as in where we are right now, I meant out on the ocean on your boat!" I gave a sheepish giggle. "Well, um... I just love the sea. I had the opportunity to rent a boat and go out on the open water and I couldn't pass it up. The sun shining bright, the sparkling waves, the serenity, it was all perfect. Then you had to show up and make it even better than that." I reach out and pat her head, her eyes closing as she lets out a content sigh.
"So... how about that place you wanted to show me?" Gura snaps out of it and at once grabs my hand and returns to dragging me along at a brisk pace. The sea floor has gotten darker while we had our moment, but she can still easily find her way.
