I'm reclining on the deck, the sun washing over me. Suddenly a splash from the water spatters my chest. Bolting upright, I look about frantically. Then my gaze holds on a bright, smiling face resting on a pair of slender arms at the edge of the boat.
"Enjoying the weather, chum?"
I slowly nod, removing my sunglasses to ensure I'm not seeing things. Then I slowly approach her, down on my knees and elbows so her face and mine would be level.
"Yes. It's a nice, warm day."
She smiles wide, showing her rows of white, sharp teeth, pressing her eyes into a mirthful squint. Then, her eyes shot open, the deep, sparkling blue even more beautiful than the ocean she appeared from; I was entranced.
"Care for a swim?"
Her hand reached out, and I took it before, at once, she pulled me into her arms, both of us tumbling overboard!
