Odd Encounters

Two months had passed and we still hadn't heard of any improvements when it came to the Queen Luna's condition.
 The kingdom was anxious and it was even worse in the palace. We simply had no idea what to do. Malcolm had called in some of the best pack healers he could get a hold of nothing worked, we were advised to wait, and the wait wasn't pleasant everybody dealt with the pain of not having the queen Luna around in their own way.

Malcolm sunk into his work dealing with resistant packs that were starting trouble, sienna had been on tour, visiting packs, investigating the uprisings that were taking place and looking for her mate, she hated being the only one left unmated among us, Karrie also put in a lot of time with the warriors, being the head warrior and all, Michael had gone with some of the other warriors to fight in the unrest that was taking place recently.

I was now a seer in training , training myself seeing as I was the only one in existence , I have given the study the seer before me had used so I had some connection with information that could help me .

Turns out being a seer came with a lot of changes. For starters the more visions I got, the more my appearance would change. When I looked in the mirror after I had woken up the day the queen was poisoned I realized that my eyes had turned a light grey and my hair was mostly shiny silver. According to the books I found in the seers room I was going through the final changes that would lead to more of my powers coming through.

Powers, yes that was a new change that was coming through too. I discovered one when I was going down the stairs, something in my mind told me to turn back and imp glad I did because a maid had chosen to use those stairs and had been narrowly missed by falling chandelier, upon further investigation I figured out I had very sharp intuition, and that it was pretty rare to physically feel events before they occurred.

Most of the time I would only see Malcolm when I went to bed or when we passed each other in the halls , the bond wasn't doing great, we weren't doing all that great . Being king was hard enough on him but now he was always on high alert and spent most of the time working from the queen Luna's room in order to keep an eye on her. along with my seer training I also had to have combat training with one of the warrior at Malcolm's behest, he thought I should be able to defend myself at any cost if the worst were to happen and I would have to fight in the first place.

Karrie as head warrior didn't take it easy on me one bit, I had training early in the morning and towards the evening before dinner, if I wasn't doing warrior training I was training myself to hone my seer skills, if it wasn't that, I was up in the library reading up on the past Luna's and having to be trained to take over from the queen Luna once she awoke. The coronation had been planned and was just getting delayed because I could not become queen unless the queen Luna accepted me into the pack and as the new queen.

I was walking to me and Malcolm's room when I passed by the Queen Luna's room and heard noises , when I got closer , it turned out to be voices , ones I didn't recognize so I walked in.

Two sets of eyes landed on me when I made my entrance, an older looking man, and sienna

"Everything alright in here? sienna ? Why are you back from your tour so soon" I walk towards her and only then do I notice the hateful glare she is giving the man in the room. I glance at sienna and at the queen Luna who seems to still be in the state she had been

" Malcolm called me back because of the growing tensions between the royal packs and the rouges , I came home and rushed to see Mama when I found him in here hovering over her like some psycho, I don't trust him one bit Daleia I want him out of here ! "

"Now ...now sienna that is not how to speak to your dear... dear uncle is it, your father would not like this one bit -"

"You have no right to speak on what father would want you murderer, that's right I know you're the one that killed him"

"Sienna... sienna look at me, calm down" I say moving hear away from the man I now know as King Maximillian's brother.

She stands near the queen's bed as if defending her from the man. I turn back to look at him

"So you're the Daleia everybody is talking about, and a seer I see, it's an absolute pleasure to meet the future queen. "He moves closer to me taking my hand and kissing the back of it.

"Not much of a talker is we?"

" it's nice to meet you as well sir , however imp going to have to ask you to leave , as you can see, the princess isn't quite pleased with your presence here ."

"But of course my queen wouldn't want to upset the princess...."

He moves to the door and promptly leaves but not before glaring at the queen on the bed and sending sienna and awfully forced smile and wink. Something about the man didn't sit right with me but I would have to deal with that later.

"What was that about sienna, we agreed not to accuse anyone without cause. This is bad"

" I couldn't care less , he was about to harm mother before I got here , playing around with her oxygen mask, something is up Daleia and where the hell is Malcolm, isn't he supposed to be watching over mother?"

I didn't have a clue where Malcolm was either; he was supposed to be here with her maybe something had happened? He wouldn't leave her unless something had gone on.

"Let me go-"

" no ill go find him , you stay right here with mama Daleia , Malcolm is getting a piece of my mind today. " in her haste her scarf dropped from her shoulders revealing a fresh mark on her neck,

"Before you start jumping for joy, let me find my brother first and we can go crazy over me finding my mate later ... with Karrie now don't tell okay I want it to be a surprise"

she walks out leaving me in the room with the queen Luna, a part of me is jealous, I had found my mate three months ago and I didn't have his mark, nor he mine, the bond twisted and my wolf whined, was I not mate material or something, did he not desire me, I mean did he even see me in that way? We slept in the same bed and he was an alpha I thought we would have gone through the phase of not being able to take our hands of each other by now, but then again I could be over thinking the whole situation.

I sit next to the queens bed, she looks disturbed as if having a bad dream, but this time I know not to touch her, the last time I did it triggered a vision, and call me selfish but I didn't like waking up after a vision with a new bruise or bruises each time because somehow even while seated I found myself on the ground.

That plan however flies out the window when the queen murmurs "get away ... get away from me " I panic when she starts moving and move to soothe her back to bed when everything around me goes black.

For a slit second everything is dark, like I blinked, the next the queen Luna is staring back at he shocked

"Who are you? How did you find me "it takes me a second to realize that we are not in her luxurious room anymore but at the entrance of the palace by the door? Everything seems different though, quiet, and all the people around are frozen. A maid dusting a mirror and the two guards at the palace door all unblinking unmoving, not breathing, what was happening here? Where the hell was I?

I'm brought back from my reverie when she looks me in the eyes and shakes me "who are you and how did you get here? How did you find me?

"I'm Daleia Queen Luna, where is here, what's happening?"

"I think were trapped in my head, I've been stuck in here for days how did you get in here I think I was poisoned"

"I'm afraid you've been here for months ... three months. And I'm Daleia Queen Luna, a seer...I think that's how i managed to find you where you are, the question now is, how do we get out?"
