- Scarlett POV -

I went to check on Y/N but when I got there I heard her speaking to someone, I listened for a bit and when I realized that she was talking to Katie I decided to let her bed and I went back downstairs where Romain and Rose were.

He was looking at me with disappointment and Rose was simply tired. He turned to her and said something in French that I didn't quite understand.

She nodded hugged him and went to her room, without saying anything to me.

Romain shook his head.
" You have a boyfriend... Why?"

He asked and we went to the kitchen.

" Because I'm a woman, I have needs, I like this guy and I think I can have a future with him, and I don't think I have to explain myself to you. "

" You do not Scarlett, but I just want to... Understand this, you have Y/N, yet you have a boyfriend"

" What does it mean ' you have Y/N' can't I have a best friend and a boyfriend? " I said crossing my arms.

" You can, but you can't call Y/N a best friend, you two are more of a couple than you and I ever been, you live together, you sleep in the same bed whenever you can, her son calls you Mama. Y/N used to make you dinner and lunch when we were together, she takes you on vacation and your own family treats her as if she was your girlfriend and not your best friend" he said and I shook my head.

" No, you are seeing things, Y/N and I are friends, that is all, I'm not gay, I don't like women, I never liked women and nothing ever happen and will happen between Y/N and I, cause I don't like her like that," I said frustrated.

Romain nodded " then it's your loss because Y/N would give you the world, but you have a boyfriend, congratulations, I hope you are happy with him, and I hope Rose gets along with him. If he's the 1% of what Y/N is, then he's a good guy. "

" But? " I said knowing him.

" But you are making a mistake, again, you made this mistake 2 times, with Ryan and me, you have the person you are supposed to be with right next to you, and you do not realize it. If I were you, I would pay attention and do something before Y/N is no longer yours. And before she meets someone that loves her the way she loves you" he said and went quiet.

I looked away from him and saw Y/N standing there with Levi and her keys.

" I have a situation and I have to go, " she said in a serious tone and Romain got up and went over to her.

They hugged each other and he smiled at Levi. " It was good seeing you Y/N and it was very nice to meet him"

Y/N smiled " thank you, it was nice to see you too, perhaps we will see more of each other "

" How come?" I asked and she looked at me.

" Katie got an audition for a new movie, if she gets the role, she will move France for a while and since her girlfriend is busy she would be alone with Levi, so she asked if I was willed to join her for the next five months, and help her out." She said and Romain smiled.

" That is wonderful, if you come to France we have to, hang out as you Americans say, I know a lot of palaces you would enjoy thanks to history and culture and Katie is still a fan of wine?"

" Yes, she loves her wine"

" We have to check my family Vineyards, when you go to France just call me, and we will organize everything," he said and she nodded.

" Well, I have to go now, I have a driver waiting for us, Romain it was great seeing you, tell Rose I'll be back later," she said to me and walked away.

Romain looked at me and smiled.
" If I were you, I would act fast, cause I think, Y/N is starting to realize that her feelings are getting wasted on you,"

" But I don't like her like that," I said and he crossed his arms.

" Really? So you are okay with the idea of her moving to Europe?" He said and I frowned at the idea of not having Y/N close by.

" Or, with the fact that while she's there she might meet a woman, a beautiful, smart, and kind woman, that will be realized how lucky they are to have Y/N attention and that will give her the same amount of attention?" He said and got closer to me.

" Will you be okay, with Y/N meeting someone, and she will cook for them, take them on vacation, give them her full attention, cuddle them whenever they want, be there when they are upset, love them,"

I shook my head " she can't do that for someone, she does those things for me"

" She can, because that is what a girlfriend does with someone they love, and you will have Colin to give you all this love, certainly he does this already if you are choosing him before Y/N. Right? So tell me, what is so wonderful about your new boyfriend?"

" He... He's funny, and he treats me right, he's not in the Hollywood spotlight, he's smart, he went to college, he's very sweet and he's just as busy as I am, so he understands this lifestyle, and he wants kids"

Romain nodded.
" Y/N has 3 degrees, she went to college here and in Ireland, she's the daughter of two famous actors but she stays away from the spotlight, she has a baby, she's very sweet, she's incredibly smart and she can deal with her partner being busy cause she used to be married to Katie McGrath. "

" She's a woman," I said and he nodded.

" You know what, I will no longer try to make you see reason, do as you will, date this handsome funny man, be happy," he said and reached for his keys.

" But, I say this as a friend, when you start to go all insane again, because Y/N has a new girlfriend, like you did when she started to hang out with Gal Gadot...I will be there to say ' I told you so' "

He went upstairs to say goodbye to Rose and I sat there thinking.

I knew that he had a good point, but I liked Colin, and Y/N was just my friend, but when Romain said that stuff about not having her around and seeing her with other women, it did bother me.

I got my phone and I decided to text someone that would help me out.

To Evans: Can you come over tonight? I have to talk to someone.

From Evans: Hey, sorry, but I can't tonight, can we do this tomorrow?

To Evans: Sure...

I put my phone away and I started to think, could I like Y/N? If I did... Would I be willed to risk ruining our friendship?
