Brad's POV
It is soon time for my shift in Zodiac College hospital so I entered the hospital in uniform. However, I decided to check on the Zodiac heroes first because they decided to stay overnight with Tommy before meeting Tubbo. So after dropping my stuff down, I went to their room to check on them as they woke up.
Brad: Rise and shine Zodiac heroes.
Zach: It honestly feels more comfortable on the floor.
Brad: Okay, so before you guys go back to your dorms, do you want to see Tubbo?
Tommy: Yes please.
Brad: Okay, but first, Tommy must regain his strength first. So Tommy, can you please sit up for me, please?
Tommy: Okay.
Tommy managed to sit up all by himself without any complaints. I then told him to try to stand up only this time, he complained that he still felt weak because of his wound. Well, infected wound. I told him to go back to his bed and he is already exhausted.
Brad: It seems like he might need a wheelchair to go to the ICU.
Wilbur: Is it because of the wound?
Brad: Yeah, but it'll take a while to heal so he won't be weak forever. For now, Tommy has to be on a wheelchair until his wound heals.
Niki: Okay.
Brad: Good, I'll grab the wheelchair and then we can go to the children's ICU.
Zach's POV
Brad left the room to grab a wheelchair for Tommy since he's still weak. I'm so nervous to see Tubbo in the ICU because we've been worried last night when we rushed him in. I know he is in a coma but neither of us wanted to see a young boy in a coma and we've been scared for him.
Tommy: Guys, I'm scared.
Zach: We all are.
Ryan L: Yeah, it's like we're seeing a dead Tubbo being kept alive by millions of machines.
Raphael: Literally me years ago.
Zoe: Yeah.
Tommy: Why can't I walk though?
Zach: It's only temporary, you can walk once you recover.
Tommy: Yeah. I just feel weak. I'm supposed to be strong like a man.
Josh: Well, sorry to break it to you but not all men could be as strong as everyone thinks. We all have weaknesses and we can't always be as perfect as you think. That's an example of toxic masculinity.
Tommy: Really?
Zach: Yeah.
Tommy: I've been growing up hearing 'men don't do this men don't do that' stuff. That's the reason why my biological parents neglected me in the first place.
Cooper: That's dumb.
Yuto: Yeah, like who would neglect their child just because they don't act manly?
Tommy: I dunno, that's the dumbest thing ever. Wish Tubbo was here for me to talk about it.
Niki: We can talk to him about it for you?
Tommy: When he's awake, right?
Wilbur: Yes.
While we were talking, Brad came to the room with a wheelchair. Wilbur and I helped him onto the wheelchair followed by the IV and oxygen tank with the help of Brad. As soon as we're ready, we all started walking through the halls on the way to see Tubbo in the children's intensive care unit.
