THERE WAS RUMBLING ALL AROUND BENJAMIN FRANKLIN RODRIGUEZ'S ROOM.
"Who's there?" Benny says scared as he saw light coming from his closest. Then the closest opens and he comes in view, the greatest baseball player that ever lived.
"Don't go pee in your pants kid. I'm just here to give you a hand." Babe Ruth said.
"But you're—"
"Dead? LEGENDS NEVER DIE, KID."
"But you're really him. You're the Babe." Benny said still star stuck. "The Sultan of Swat. The King of Crash.-"
"Of crash, and a hundred other dopey names. Forget about that stuff kid, we ain't much time. I'm here 'cause you're in some kinda pickle right?" Babe Ruth cuts him off.
"Yeah." Benny nods.
"A baseball with my john Hancock on it went over a fence,and can't get it back. And even a girl in the stands that you would not want that little Lady to get hurt, huh?" Said Babe Ruth knowing about Harmony and The Ball.
"Harmony?" Benny says but then snaps out and says "right yeah."
"Just hop over there and get it." Babe Ruth said as it was the most obvious thing ever.
"Wait wait wait. I can't." Benny says walking towards the Babe.
"You can't what?"
"I can't go into that backyard."
"Why not?"
"There's a Beast back there."
"What kind?"
"A giant gorilla-dog thing that ate one kid already." Benny said thinking that was possible.
"Is that a fact? Sit down kid." Babe ruth says and then he walks to Bennys desk and grabs a baseball card and asks if he could keep it. And Benny nods.
"Let me tell you something kid. Everybody gets one chance to do something great. Most people never take a chance, Because they're too scared, or they don't recognize it when it spits on their shoes. This is your big chance, and you shouldn't let it go by. And this big chance is even the little lady's. I mean, remember when you busted the guts out of a ball the other day? Or when Harmony kept telling the guys that one should jump the fence. Someone's telling you something, kid. And if I were you, I'd listen." Babe Ruth says.
"No no no I don't want her to get hurt." Benny says with pleading eyes.
"Don't be scared for Harmony. Shes a good kid, great player. If she is gonna do something that may hurt her, she knows what she's doing." Babe Ruth says. "But its her decision."
"Wait. So you're saying I should hop over the Fence." He hesitated. "With Harm, if she wants to. And we pickle the beast?"
"Think about that, kid. Ill see you later." Babe Ruth says walking back into the closet.
