Whoo! Another update! It is shortish, though... I think... any-who, from here on out, I will be putting in as many out of anime references as possible. if you can name where they're from, I will dedicate a CHAPPiE to you. :3
I want to see that movie.
Oh, and the first part SUCKS because I didn't know what to do and I didn't want to write about her dreams. Too much trauma in a few chapters! T^T

Crazy Kasumi and Misty People
~ ~ Third POV ~ ~
As Kasumi slept, she twitched and flinched on her sensei's back, making small noises that worried her team.
"Kakashi-sensei, what happened to Kasumi-san?" Sakura asked the silver haired man, a glimmer of care in her emerald green eyes. The sensei sighed at his student's question, looking back at the small girl he carried as she whimpered.
"I don't know. But, I think she was abused by her parents." He replied, sending everyone into a silence full of anger, pity, and thought.
"Who would do that to their own child?" Sakura asked once more.
"That's the thing, Kasumi-san was adopted." Kakashi told her. "She never knew her real parents."
"That's a shame." Tazuna murmured quietly, taking a large drink from his bottle before continuing on relatively quiet. He thought it best not to disrupt them again because he realized just how serious the matter was.
"But, at the training grounds, she said her parents' names were on the KIA stone." Naruto said, joining the conversation.
"She did. I found that a little odd." The Jonin added. "She's not from the village, and, from what we know, she's never been in the village."
"Really?" Sakura questioned.
"But she seems to know the village well." Sasuke muttered quietly.
"She does know the village well." Kakashi nodded to his student. "And she also knows much about those inside the village."
"Yeah, on her first day she listed a bunch of people's names, first and last." Sakura said.
"No one told her about anyone in the village unless they introduced themselves." Kakashi informed.
"I always thought that Kiba-san told her." Sakura muttered, looking at her female teammate as she flinched and whimpered. "Sensei, shouldn't we wake her up?"
"I don't think it would be a good idea." He trailed off, looking back to the girl as she breathed harshly. She hid her face in his neck and he felt the wetness of tears hit his skin through the fabric of his mask. He looked at her sadly and sighed, turning back to his other students and putting on his signature smile.
"You guys go up ahead some more, I'll wake her up if it's needed."
The boys did as told, leading the group, while Sakura hung back a little, staying closer to her sensei, Tazuna, and Kasumi.
Kakashi looked back at the girl he was carrying once more as he rubbed her head softly. After he did, he heard her mutter something quietly as she relaxed from her rigid state, tightening her arms' hold around his neck while she uttered a single word that almost made him freeze.
"Dad..."
~ ~ Kakashi POV! YAY KAKASHI! ~ ~
"Dad..."
Does she think I'm her father? No, her father was apparently abusive; she wouldn't have been like this with him. But...Dad?
I looked back at Kasumi once more, seeing a small smile on her face as she hugged my shoulders. Who would have hurt a girl like this? She seems so happy at times, how is she able to carry the pain of abuse with such a convincing smile? How can she be able to face the day and those around her and trust them? I know that any other child that had to deal with abuse would probably seal themselves away from anyone who could hurt them, but not her. She welcomes all of us with open arms and a bright smile.
