The Path of Life and the Test of Our Time! (Part Two)

I watched from the side as Sasuke and Sakura jumped away, Kakashi hid himself, and Naruto just wanted a straight fight.

"Kasumi-chan! Fight me!" Naruto yelled. I giggled at him and shook my head.

"I'm not the one you're wanting to fight, am I?" He blinked and shook his head no. "That's what I thought. He should be out soon enough..."

Soon enough, Bakakashi came out and Naruto did their little 'finger of death' thing. I yawned and walked away. You think it would be better in real life, but after seeing it so many imes, it just gets annoying.

I walked over to a tree and sat down, closing my eyes and trying to focus my senses on the world around me. Soon enough, I felt my eyes tingle and as I opened them, the entire world came into focus. It was like that Dragon View from the Eragon movie. Meaning all the colors were brighter and clearer and if I focused enough, I could...the best word I could use would be zoom in and out of the area I was looking at if I thought about it.

I felt my ears tingle as I tried to listen for anyone coming at me. As the tingling continued, my hearing sharpened and I heard Naruto in the river making his shadow clones.

Blinking as the new smells slammed into me, my eyes watered at the strength at which they were compared to usual as my nose tingled. It tickled and I really wanted it all to stop.

What the hell?!

I closed my eyes and felt the tingling again, this time going back from my ears, eyes and nose before dispersing. I sighed in relief as the smells and sounds left before I opened my eyes, my sight duller and less...zoom-y. I kind of miss the pretty colors...

I closed my eyes and let the area around me take me into it. As I did this, I felt irritated at the tingling sensation going up my spine and ending at my neck. I felt the world around me come into perspective as it did the other night with Iruka and Naruto. It was like Toph from ATL. I am so tired of these Out-Of-Fandom moments...

I felt Sakura running around not too far from me. Wait, scratch that, she found me.

"Kasumi-san?" She asked. I nodded and stood, not opening my eyes.

"Do you want to fight?" I asked, sending her into a fighting stance as I leaned against the tree with my arms crossed. My cool pose. "Or...do you want to find your. Sasuke-kun?" I smirked as she relaxed and tilted her head in thought.

"A-are you going to attack me?" She asked, resuming her stance.

"Nope." I smiled brightly. "It would be such a drag to actually try and, at the moment, I just want to relax." I yawned for emphasis and stretched my arms before letting them sag by my sides. "Plus, this might be the time that Sasuke confesses his love for you." I opened my eyes, which I knew had changed, and looked at her. My hair was still in my face, giving me a white haired, young female Ero-chimaru look. Insert shiver here...ugh, I can't believe I was compared to him—even by myself!

Sakura, being totally oblivious to my frightening appearance, started blathering about Sasuke-kun and his love for her. Her words, not mine. Before squealing, she sent me a gigantic "THANK YOU, KASUMI-CHAN!" and running off, fangirling about Sasuke the whole way.

"DON'T USE THAT HONORIFIC!" I shouted at her. Of course, she wasn't paying attention and busy fangirling, so I was ignored.

I sighed and closed my eyes, sitting back down and leaning my head against the tree.
